Glad to hear you weren't brigged for too long. And that my quote on quote "superiors" did see reason in co-operating with this "Bowman"..
She takes a short pause.
..Of course, they'll be expecting more than just logistic support when the time comes, but I'm certain that it'll be only beneficial. After all, we both know that detecting a threat is only a half of what needs to be done. But real action will be done faster if it wasn't for your help.
A kind chuckle was heard in the recording. And after, the agent continues:
And now, when big people do their talking, it's time for us to do the work. Speaking of, it was mostly paper and words lately. Had to take a break for a bit, or, you know, without one it's quite easy to go crazy, even worse than those we hunt day and night.
Since you're free now, do you have any interesting stories to tell? Something new, or, perhaps, some memories of old? What are you up to, Trouble?
...And whatever it is, you can count on me lending a hand.

Ah, Melusine.
Yes, just a week overall in confinement. But you were right, at least it was a place to stay, yeah? Splendid room service.
The Zoner woman rolls her eyes, grinning with a fleeting degree of mischief.
It was worth it in the end. Now, how am I? Funny that you should ask.
Do you know a Thallia Thorn, Melusine? It'd seem she knows you.
I'd sought her out to learn more information about the supposed source of this leak we're working off of, thanks to the Xenos. I think she hoped to meet you at Barrier Gate a few days ago, but, she came across me instead. She sends warm regards.
It turned out to be a dead end, but I managed to warn her that her name was not-so-securely tied to that leak. Thorn didn't seem aware of that, and since she wasn't eager to make herself an easy mark, I think she'll tread lightly for a while. I suppose I've done her a favor. But I don't envy her.
With that done, I've found time for a break myself, and I do have stories to tell. If you're interested, why don't we exchange some? I'm looking to meet with Laz sometime soon to retrieve those devices I commissioned. We can go together if it suits you. He and I weathered a lot in our relatively short careers, and plenty of it together. I'm sure he wouldn't mind our company.
