Dear Cesar “Flipado” Gutierrez,

I report the necessity of conducting a reconnaissance-in-force operation in the Omega-55 system. This system currently serves as a de facto frontier node providing access to the Deep Omega systems.

According to previously submitted intelligence, significant enemy forces are concentrated in this area, including Coalition units, Red Hessians, the Core, as well as elements of the Rheinland Military Fleet. Additionally, the presence of sizable Zoner formations has been confirmed.

In order to assess the enemy’s combat potential and clarify the structure of its defenses, it is deemed advisable to conduct a limited reconnaissance-in-force operation prior to the onset of large-scale hostilities, which are considered inevitable following the deployment of our outpost in this sector.

It is proposed to dispatch a forward detachment of limited strength with the following objectives:
— identification and classification of combat patrols;
— determination of defensive configurations;
— assessment of enemy force composition and density.

Proposed force composition:
• 2 Murmillo-class battleships
• 2 Tribunus-class battlecruisers
• 4 Praefect-class cruisers
• 4 Imperator-class gunboats
• 6 escort craft (fighters and bombers)

Primary mission of the task force: to locate enemy forces, engage in a limited confrontation inflicting maximum possible damage, and execute an organized withdrawal.

Good work on your part, senor Alcazar!

It is a good idea to do a cleanup in Omega-55 system right before battleship Sfax is ready to be launched. We will also return the favor to Red Hessians after they've started staging several attacks on our forces in the past two weeks. Crushing their allies will make a good desert.

However, we'll be requesting assistance from Deterrence and other Corsarios to assist us in this, as we can't afford to send that much firepower at once. Our highly reliable battlegroup Malgreb will likely be sending some of their ships as well. Everything should be prepared by approximately seven days.

Since you're the most familiar with Omega-55 system, I will be appointing you as the coordinator of this operation. Feel free to give it a proper name as well.
