We have not heard from your biological selves in the Complicated Place for some time. It is our utmost hope that you remain occupied solely with the restoration of our old home, of which we have great need.
In our possession are two Archer-class Siege cruisers, Excalibur and Caladbolg. A third, Damocles, remains undiscovered, but our artificial selves have reason to believe we are closing in on her last known location.
All three vessels have sustained grievous wounds, of the sort only your hands and house may mend. Upon recovery of Damocles, we wish to escort these vessels to Fort Leniex. It is our artificial and biological selves estimate that at least one vessel must be sacrificed if the others are to yet fight again. We will leave the discretion of which is best suited to the proverbial altar to you.
This is not a "small" ask. If we must engage in squid pro quo, we are willing to do so within reason.

SUBJECT: HELP
Sorry to disappoint, but Nibwaakaawin is currently stationed somewhere beyond my clearance. My name is Brody Harper, the current quartermaster for Leniex.
While I was never in the Legion, I have respect for your tenacity and your resistance, lasting as long as you have. Shame how it ended but, then again, you were and still are outnumbered and outgunned. We share that now and that is reason enough for us to cooperate.
Unfortunately, there are some problems. During its last days, its former occupants attempted to scuttle the station. I have done what I can to return some of its old functions and this is where a bit of quid pro quo becomes relevant.
We need personnel and resources to aid in repairing and refitting Leniex, ideally for the long haul. What can you provide on that front?
The irony of you requiring our help in this endeavor is not lost upon us. Some things to know about the lodging accommodations:
Fort Leniex was constructed in secret, beginning 816 AS as we decommissioned Phoenix Shipyards, a place your biological selves may or may not possess your own mythos about. This was pre-empted by long term plan to disentangle ourselves from the Lane Hackers, necessitating a base of operations even they were not privy to. All modules of Phoenix which were cost-effective to relocate were towed one by one deep into the Guerrero. Piece by piece, we affixed girder after girder, drydock after drydock, to one singular rock, notable only for its size and robust composition. We of course constructed Leniex with certain contingencies in case of discovery or capture. One such contingency was CONTINGENCY EPITAPH, a full detonation of the entire station via thermonuclear warheads encased at crucial points throughout the rock which we believe surviving insurgents who refused to flee during DUSKSTORM attempted to initiate. EPITAPH required physical input from Legion command staff including Exarch Amy West, last Lord Commander of the Legion. Without her key, detonation sequence defaulted to CONTINGENCY UTAH, a controlled detonation at key module junctions and a full wipe of non-airgapped Legion databanks. UTAH was designed to serve as a counter to attack via non-traditional vectors, including biological, chemical, and cyber warfare, wherein threat could be isolated, resolved, and Leniex returned to a "factory reset" state. As intent was to maximize destructive potential and negate feasibility of capture, RCS thrusters on installation modules were disabled, and components allowed to engage in full contact sports with local asteroid field.
Your biological selves should consider yourselves blessed by whatever gods you may or may not believe in that a full detonation did not occur. Most extensive damage to modules which have not encountered unplanned collision with Guerrero boulders - latest flyby tallies 2/3 drydocks - should be to module junctions, ETS relays, and sensitive computer systems. Crosscheck your damage reports with our projections, and our artificial selves will draft shopping list.

Harper seems to have held down the fort well enough. Other tasks kept me away from business. You understand.
We aren't able to berth your cruisers at this time due to ongoing usage of the remaining drydock, that much is true. However, we can provide a refuge away from prying eyes for manual repairs and refitting with drones, EVA teams, and runabouts. Would take a long time, but you've waited this long to get these ships firing again. I'm sure it won't kill you to wait longer.
Regarding what's needed at home... plenty of structural damage. One shattered biodome, two offline. Two drydocks completely out of commission. Several external modules have broken off from controlled detonations and been battered around by debris and incidental collisions. Two towers, one being the ATC, are just completely gone. And internally, nearly every significant computer system, from life support to the classified archives, is either damaged beyond use or recognition, or locked down tight enough that trying to brute force an unlock might damage the very thing we're trying to get. Essentially, we're operating at the bare minimum of habitation, running off a mixture of backup generators and infrequent supply runs to get by. She's not what she used to be, not by a long shot. For the longest time, I only used the station to inter the fallen. The ghosts are noisier than the machines that once ran everything.
I'll send over more detailed telemetry and data with a more secure method, a datarunner. The damage to our comm arrays and the corruption of software aboard here means I'm not inclined to risk interception of sensitive information. You understand.

Hello.
Looks like everyone's tangled, down to their toes, in other business, so I'll be your point of contact for the foreseeable future on the Legion side. You'd mentioned a datarunner so I'd assume a personal meeting's what you are looking for. Give me the comfortable window, or the time your contact will be arriving and I'll be there to get it done.
It is good to see a familiar face. Damage report falls mostly in line with our projections, with outliers in observation towers and one sad biodome, suboptimal for providing a standing army with a Succulent Guadalajaran Meal. Our artificial selves believe that the following manifest will suffice.
Swords and Rock:
2000 units Optronics
2000 units Nanocapacitors
4000 units Bio Neural Processors
4000 units Quantum Multiplexors
6000 units Military Salvage
8000 units Engine Components
8000 units High Temperature Alloy
12000 units Superconductors
20000 units Hull Panels
All-American Cookout:
8000 units Biodome Materials
4000 units Fertilizer
Logistics footprint is atrocious, but the the show must go on. If your biological selves require anything our artificial selves have not taken into consideration, inform us when possible. We trust your messenger will find us with haste and discretion. We will arrange to have Legionnaires Crowe and Scerri meet them if possible.
