As the First Born of our litter, it falls to me - Alcoholic Guinea Pig - to introduce (and explain) our sudden appearance in Sirius.
Our litter was found by a kind, old Freelancer in the cargo hold of a wrecked freighter adrift within the Akioud Cloud in the
Omega 47 system roughly a year ago. Eyes barely open, not quite able to even walk yet, the Freelancer took us aboard his
Starfighter and we journeyed with him until quite recently.
As we grew, we learned from him exponentially. All the intricacies of Humans, the dangers of Aliens, the concepts of commerce,
free trade, justice, cooperation and fairness - we even learned the darker side of Humans, like hostility, war, revenge and retribution.
As we came of Age, the elderly Freelancer gave us our names, based on our personality traits (I still don't understand mine, but oh well)
and sent us out into Sirius, with a hefty sum of credits each, to thrive and prosper on our own. He then sold his ship and retired to
the Luxury Liner Hawaii, where he still is today.
Our origins are still a mystery, even to us. We do know that we are the perfect friends and companions to Humans, and although we
easily understand Human speech, we lack the ability to say anything other than 'Weet' (and the occasional 'wokka wokka'). So, if you
see a Guinea Pig out there, know that his simple 'Weet' is one of greetings and good wishes.
On a sad note, the runt of our litter went missing and is presumed dead. Her last transmission was from near a jumphole in the
Omicron Zeta system. If anyone has any information on the fate of the little gal, please let a Piggy know.
Weet !
