Ayakashi took a sip from her glass and gave a faint smirk, "There are only two of us, Sapphire-san left early. I'm fairly certain one bottle will be enough." She was not a woman given to drinking in any great quantity. Wine of this kind had always been purely a tasting experience for her, one where a gentle loosening of tension was welcome enough, but even that had its limits.
She then returned to the original thread of their conversation, "As an actress I would have had a harder time of it than I do now. I would have had to give statements to the media or answer questions from admirers, and now I don't have to do it at all. I prefer it when as little as possible is known about me. How are you managing all this public attention, Sanae-san?"
Sanae took a few moments to think, moments that were covered with a small sip of wine. "Hmh.. Being known came natural to me back in Liberty already. Had all sorts of Navy, LPI and other bigshots know my name. You know me, sitting at Ginza during breaks? That's just a trait of me. Though, sometimes I enjoy the reclusive nature of my home over anything else. And on the streets? It's so easy not to be spotted.. granted everyone here in Awaji-shima knows me but they don't treat me differently. The media is a different story, can never be too careful. Not having to answer them anything is also my preference." That little anecdote made her smile again, a smile that turned sly as she continued. "Oh-oh-oh, but aren't you here to answer the questions of an admirer right now~?"
"Given your long-standing curiosity about me, Sanae-san, it seems I have not been giving you enough answers about myself.", Ayakashi gave the Prime Minister of Kusari an amused smirk, narrowing her eyes with quiet satisfaction. "What you and actors have to go through simply cannot be compared to my situation."
"Can you still imagine your life without high politics? What would you do if you did not carry responsibility for billions upon billions of voters?", the spy in black pressed forward with a counter-offensive of her own.
"I'm in no rush to find my answers about you, Aya." She simply returned. "Without.. politics?" Her amused smile turned into a thoughtful one, it was clear she didn't spend much time if any thinking about such a scenario.. "Still manage the Miyasu family businesses, I suppose.. just in full capacity. Not sure if I were to venture off to silly adventures or stay and pursue music as my passion whilst enjoying a quiet life." She paused to take a little sip of wine. "Honest truth though, if I feel confident our beautiful nation develops in the right direction without needing me to intervene at times, I won't hesitate to retire from politics. Two or three more legislative periods, maybe? Though with recent.. no-no-no, let's change topics."
