Violent mob terrorises Galileo
REPPU BEND - Galileo has once more been plunged into chaos, after Kusari civilians enacted a shipping blockade. Claiming to avenge the assassination of Admiral Goro Okamoto, the flotilla declared that Kusari was closed to Liberty trade and began harassing and attacking local shipping. Following several complaints by Liberty transports, the Liberty Navy mobilized a patrol force to restore order, which was met with defiant insults and threats from the growing crowd.
The Liberty deployment was met in kind by the Kusari Naval Forces, resulting in a tense stand-off near Galileo's Reppu Bend, with the protesters caught in the middle. Attempts to peacefully disperse the gathering failed, after the crowd became increasingly agitated and hostile. It is currently unclear what transpired next, with some reports indicating rioters destroyed a passing Liberty freighter, while others claim the Liberty Security Force attempted to arrest the protest ringleaders.
The situation immediately spiralled out of control, as the enraged crowd attacked nearby patrols. Liberty law enforcement declared the situation a riot and authorised lethal force to disperse the attackers. Kusari and Liberty remain cagey about what transpired next, however search and rescue operations are still ongoing. Multiple rioters are believed to have been killed during the altercation, as well as an unknown number of Kusari and Liberty naval personnel.
Zenga Tanigaki of the Shikoku Criminal Affairs Bureau advised that an investigation into the organization of the unlawful protest was ongoing, and that domestic religious extremists had been implicated as potential suspects. Anonymous Libertonian sources responded to the Galileo riot with outrage, reporting that President Hawthorne has run out of patience with attacks on Liberty citizens, and is contemplating closing the Colorado border to all Shikoku traffic.
We should hold all the Kusari transport for interrogation, heck even everything what is not a native libertonian by liberty law.
JUSTICE! JUSTICE! JUSTICE!
It is a regrettable situation, given the fact the entire situation ended in chaos. It would be way better if both governments and militaries were open what happened in Galileo.

My internet decided to die on me and I shall be back promptly!✀ Also, if I'm not back for a longer time the internet really took some time off (blame the ISP).
Crazy to me how many Libertonian Corporate bootlickers there are. Don't you all see that this is probably a false flag operation? Liberty has so much money tied up in Agiera's weapons manufacturing that they need to do something with their military and Kusari isn't much better you think Samura and Kishiro aren't itching to test out all those shiny new battleships they rebuilt after they got their asses kicked in Gallia? I for one hope Kusari and Liberty go to war I hope Galileo becomes a radioactive scrap heap. One step closer to the socialist utopia that our long lost brothers in the Coalition so bravely dreamed of.
This what a steady diet of state-sponsored media and fanatical devotion to warmongering pricks does to people. Using civilians as bait is a classic House tactic, genuinely wouldn't be surprised if this whole thing was a KOI false flag.
Blowing up the Prime Minister was an unexpected move, though. Give 'em points for creativity.
Make the politicians fight their own wars. Corpos too, if they want, but only the Execs.
