Prime Minister addresses Imperial Diet following Galileo protests

Todays emergency session of the Imperial Diet in response to the Galileo protests was cut short after Prime Minister Miyasu made a surprise appearance.
Officially on sick leave due to injuries sustained during the protest, she walked into the hall ten minutes into the speech of a Social Democrat party spokesman and quite literally snatched the microphone off him to address the Imperial Diet. Featuring visible bruises and as the SNS later found out, suffering from two broken ribs, the Prime Minister held a lengthy speech in noticeable distress caused by severe pain.

Representatives of Kusari… citizens of our beautiful nation…I stand before you today… because I am the only one who still could.
None of the nobles came. Not a single elected parliament member. Not one Minister. Not one high-ranking officer of the Naval Forces… except the Lord Protector.
Everyone else abandoned our people in their hour of need. We are all angered by the murder of Kaigun Gensui Okamoto.
We are all angered by the hesitation that has gripped this government… but only a handful of us refused to look away.
And those few… those few cannot see two steps ahead.

The tip off mentioned in the Colony News Service article? It was a forgery, planted by the very assailants to push both our nations toward war.
Whoever they are, they want to endanger hundreds of millions for reasons we still do not fully know.
Liberty is playing into their hands… whether deliberately or not.
It is not too late for Liberty to turn away from the warmongers in their midst.
As for those who killed the Admiral and everyone shielding them… they will be brought to justice.
They will suffer tenfold for what they have done.
And if the people of Kusari demand their heads… then I am prepared to do it myself.
Citizens… Do not lose hope. Do not despair. We hear your cry for help. We hear your demand for clarity and truth.
I stand with the people. I have always stood with the people.
And if that means I must stand beside you in combat against those desiring to oppress our entire nation… then so be it.
The Prime Minister vacated the hall straight after she finished her speech. The Office of the Prime Minister declined any requests for comments. Genrō Shunsuke of his Imperial Majesty declared the parliament session as over immediately after.

Once more the Imperial Government proves it acts without guidance from the Divine Goddess.
