That would be what the Corsairs do. We prefer to strengthen your heart via the use of Cardamine.

The subtitle of this thread alone is win, so it gets a go-ahead just on originality. I wouldn't haggle over numbers so much.

I think what some people are missing is that these aren't Xeno designed weapons, they're Ageira designs cobbled together with parts the Xenos had laying around.

Ageira makes pulse guns.

I think our current arrangement for obtaining pulse guns is just fine, so we really don't need our own design. That being said, I wouldn't object to it if we did get it.:P

Honestly, what I'd really like to see is a Black Widow turret to mount on our freighters, but that's a discussion for a different thread.

Well, eventhou Xenos could easily do with some shield busters... Houses would aswell....

Yes, but they don't use the core from the Black Widow to do it, now do they?

Remember, I said it would be a Particle/Pulse hybrid, created by accident while the Xenos were trying to fix some damaged Ageira guns.

If we can get the game mechanics worked out, I think it would be a great RP weapon for them, alongside the fully functional Adv. Debs they swipe from Detroit.

Semi-off topic note: Sometimes I wish Freelancer was as flexible as EV:Nova when it comes to making weapons. But, it's not, so I'll just have to deal with it.

Sorry but Xenos have great black widows (on eagles high damage per shot counts), which are even better on bombers (where you don't need to worry about energy that much)... and they are supposed to be poor => no way they are getting another extra gun that is BETTER than what 80% of the server has to use.

Also only factions that have 2 guns of their own are the 4 houses + Outcasts, Corsairs, Order. Now you won't be saying that Xenos are on their level will you?

My idea stems from them being poor. They stole a bunch of Ageira guns, but the guns broke during the theft. They used parts they already had to get them working.

I never meant for them to be better than the existing guns. Certainly not anywhere close to on par with the DEFILERS, like some have suggested. Only that they are a unique RP weapon for the Xenos that is better than the pulse guns they can use now. (Adv. Debilitators, since Pueblo is too well guarded to get fully functional guns from.)

Quite frankly, this idea would fit quite well with the Junkers too. Just change the names of the Guns used to cobble the things together from and the final product.

Also, I suggested Particle because it's the only thing I can think of that could easily hold an extra Electromagnetic element. Photon and Laser won't do it, Neutron isn't likely, Tachyon and Plasma maybe, but I doubt it.

Again, I'm not doing this for selfish reasons, as I have no Xeno characters and probably never will.

I know that you're not trying to knock us having such a powerful gun as the Black Widow, but I've got something to say on that anyway. The Black Widow might be able to pour out awesome amounts of pain, but that's balanced off by the fact that most of our ships' powerplants have trouble powering a space heater and a table lamp at the same time, let alone a powerful gun.:P

I guessill just simply use Pralyzer missile... if it is possible for a Xeno.

If the missile is available on one of the Xeno-accessible bases, you can most likely use it.
