Aunno, not really sure about that. If their gonna be uncovered as being linked to Gallia wont they just import theirs? Junkers are a very grey faction so it's very possible for someone like a merc to take that bomber; being a corsair-junker hybrid; and use it against corsairs.

Not all Junkers are part of the Gallic plot, some weren't even aware of it. We also don't know for sure whether or not the Junker link to Gallia will even be public knowledge to the rest of Sirius. Note that none of the Gallic factions actually have the Junker listed as allies.

I would suggest this be Junker-specific, sold in the Junker Guard system. Should keep random mercenaries from getting it and keeping it a bit more unique. Plus, it's completely Junker-made, it just uses parts and ideas from other factions, so there's really nothing wrong with it being used vs. the Corsairs or anyone else (if they deserve it).

Neutrality is all well and good, but it still requires at least a bit of a threat of physical violence to go with it, if only to just warn off the psychos and hot-headed pirates/BHG who don't consider the political ramifications of their hostile actions in the heat of the moment.

Yes Rudo I'm exactly like that, Junkers in bomber that fires SN at the fastest rate in sirius feel just as right to me as Xenos building own battleship, or gaians using Corsair Dreadnoughts.

As I and Jure said, it could be made SHF-like ship with Junker specifics.

And as I said nerf the firing arc and power but not the CONCEPT of a dedicated GUNLESS/TURRETLESS bomber which is what we are looking for here.

Good point, junkers arent soldiers, they havent any political ambitions to have ofensive force, only defensive so they dont need uber toys.

+ their ships are made from parts found in space or taken from another ships. They should have powercore power somewhere between low-end and middle class.

Edit: also 3 torp slots are pointles and over 200 regens is too much. (aka give me fast refire, solid hull, bunch of regens and 3 torp slots and I move the world)

Obviously the exact stats would have to be decided by whichever developers decide such things, and then heavily playtested. With no regular guns at all and rather poor maneuverability, I think a slightly increased power regen rate (such as the level the SHFs have) along with a normal bomber power core would be pretty fair and balanced.

Even if you limit firing arcs to 0 degrees, they still have 20 effective degrees to each side, so 40 degrees together due to projectile exit cone.

"Dedicated bomber" is something that maybe a house military with tons of escorts that aims to down enemy BS would use.

Junker ships should be all about multifunctionality shouldn't they?
CSV/Collector are VHF/freighter mixes, Salvager is GB/Transport mix.

What do junkers actually do now? Defend their bases against tons of caps? ehh no... BHGs can't attack without a bounty.. and there's no bounty on junkers by anyone, cause they are a bit usefull to all.

So what do they do? Mine various things, salvage vessels, trade ... and sometimes rob a lone transport or freelancer.
=> They could use something that takes down transports easier than Collector and can get away with more loot.

That would be me and rest of the team... like Doom, Jure, Blodo, Gurjiv, MarvinCZ +++, the stance I represent here (no superbomber but instead SHF/freighter mix) is shared by at least 4 members of that team.

my view on proposed stats?:

Stats

40,000 power - why not, its not strongest core in space
4,000 power regeneration - no way, that is too much... pew pew SNACs isnt fun for anyone except pilot of that
28,000 hit points - why not, do you want strongest bomber ok but you'll get slowest bomber in space
3 x Torp/CD hardpoints - no way.. 3 slots? Why? Are Junkers in war? Do they even have enemies?
1x Countermeasure hardpoint - nothing to coment
220/220 bots/bats - too much, this is more than 2x than another bombers have... maybe 160 should work, because 220 regens = imposible to kill for LFs and realy hard to kill for VHFs
50 cargo - do you want small cargo? Why not but small cargo didint excuse overpowered stats above, bombers doesnt need cargo hold at all, they are war machines, not delivery vans.

Junkers could use SVHF...that ship could be used for much more stuff then bomber. And, last i have heard SVHFs can fire nova torp and they do have stats that are here proposed

Spatial has 28+k hull with 200+ nanos and batts, enough power to fire nova and double mines...do junkers need more then these stats?

yep but they have only 1 torp slot and they must choose if they mount SNAC or CD

hmm...they need to choose...well yes...i said it could fire nova...not that it should fire one...and besides, SVHF wont kill capital ship alone...it needs escorts...so escorts may carry CDs...somebody did mentioned escorts didnt it?...lets stick to that.
