Other players show up on the "!" function, as well as the "All items" function; but, not on the "Ship" function. Gets a bit old flipping back and forth on the "radar".
Any way we could get other players to show on the "Ships" display as well?

I noticed this the other day... kinda agitating if I do say so myself... Would be nice if it was fixed.
I dont know if this has been thought about and maybee it has been and was deemed to difficult but what about exporting the origonal ships then reinporting them as 1 object..... Then all the cap ships would be one object like the newones and then the multplying would no longer be a problem..
Now im no modder, iv only played around a bit and made a handfull of ships none of which looked anygood. So there might be a easyer way to do that in codeing, that i dont know about, but i wuld just play with them in milkshape if i were doing it....
And then the morters ect could stay... just a suggestion

A little quirky thing that would be cool: Have repair ships acctually be ably to repair other cap ships, and miners that latch on to big asteroids and their cargo holds slowing fill up with watever can be mined from their. The lifter could lift cargo pods but that would be pointless
Yeah, like make a repair beam for the repair ship. Make it like 100.00 refire and have it do negative damage. Have there be different repair turrets available. Like ones that heal 1 dmg per shot are like 2 million credits. One that heals 2 for 4 million, 5 hull for 10 million.

But even if it's possible to make those turrets, then wouldn't people be able to mount them on thier fighters, freighters, etc. as well? If there's some way to lock them onto Repair Ships (and possibly CSVs), then it might work. Although it does seem a little bit pointless...
It would add alot to fleet battles actually. In battle repairing.
Also, we could make it require level 1-2 level slots. That way large ships can't hold them. Small ones can, but not effectively anyway, they are too weak.
Short range to. As in, You have to be almost touching for it to work (Assuming any of this can work at all). Then, of course, the shield has to come down. And yes, it should be locked onto an existing hardpoint, or perhaps given a new one entirely.
As for point... I would certainly be more realistic then having the winning ship(s) perform the customary victory sun-dive to avoid paying ghastly repair costs (large ships especially). Plus it would give a bit more meaning to the Repair Ship, and possibly the CSV.
