I wish I was...

Y'know...

I've been looking over my earlier history and I wish I was that naive again.
When I didnt know anything and tried my best to stick to the rules.
When having a "corrupt" navyman tell me I'm going to jail or get shot for treason - I got scared.
When everything was fresh and new. When I didn't know much about the forums.
When I wasn't part of many factions.
That's when Disco was fun to me. Not this constant bickering I see on the forums.
The game is more fun that these boards, thats for sure.
I'm starting to think that the only places I'll go are RP boards and ingame.
Everything else just doesnt seem worth it, to me.
You try to help, and get bombarded with naysayers.
You try to be creative and get told, "no... it's OORP." Whatver the hell that means.
You try to share with people, and they stick knives in you, or just plain dont read.

What else is there?

I'm thinking what we are seeing now is just a rash of bad players...they come and go...sorta

Also, I think people might just be grumpy...I postulate it is b/c we didn't have any sunspot activity last year and the winters were a little gloomier and the summers slightly cooler...but who knows im just a crank who is into spamming tonight...:P

Naw. In game and here on the forums..it's been this way since I started. It isn't some new phenomena or current that will pass. This is the way it will always be. Why I hardly log on the server anymore.

Indeed. I stated that wrong. Forums rock, because they are the point, where the wast community interacts. The problem seems to be in some people, who, while believing, they are "helping the community", are doing something greatly different... Or whatever, I always sucked at short posts:D

... Me too...

I haven't been in-game for like, three days now. It's just not as appealing to me anymore, but I go through stages. I've done this before, then came back and logged like, 40 hours, now I'm just taking a break again.

But yeah, almost nobody gripes at eachother on the forums usually. It's just some stubborn idiot comes in a wreaks havoc on the entire thread and makes everybody there angry.

As has been said, almost all of us are nice and respectful, its just the ones who aren't that stand out and diminish our experience.
