are you trying to get rid of every single fighter pilot ever?

SHUT UP, leave it as it is, its fine, if the battleships get upgraded EVERYONE will be in them. there will be no fighters to shoot, everyone will have BS'S because they will be invisinble to anything less than a BS. jesus


as for getting rid of torpedo weapons, i hope that also includes MORTARS ON GUNBOATS......... most unbalanced thing in the game, even more so if the gunboat turrets get upgraded. sure a gunboat should be good v fighters, but it should be good in a realistic way.

No worries there teaboy, all mortars and if I read igiss's other post right the nova torpedo are becoming energy weapons, the nova mine is gonna become an anti-fighter version.

Thats why I've spent the last 2 or 3 weeks replacing the light-mortars I did have on my BS's.

As for everyone being in a BS, haven't you had any of the new players ask how long it takes to get a BS or which BS is the best/cheapest?

I've lost count of the number of times I've been asked those question by a new player, thats part of the reason I stay out of NY.

I think people will always still use a fighter, some people don't like capships at all.

I've heard many people whining about this before.
Everybody in a BS will never happen. A BS is too big to enter most of the border / edge worlds. Fighter is better for many things.

Itll happen soon enough if fighters become pointless. If the only thing that can kill capships is other capships, then everyone will take capships so they can kill people.

Didn't mean to offend you man, my latest post was just to see if we could get some loot off killing NPC cap ships... just like fighters get when they kill other fighters, they get loot they can use, whether it's low quality or good.

As for the turrets, I agreed earlier in this thread that the turrets don't need damage upgrades as long as the capital ship power supplies are looked at.

Umm... igiss was the "mining mine" put in use in the mod? i didn't find it. Last time everyone liked the idea.

And why don't you replace the nova with a BattleRazor for figters?

I would *LOVE* to see a mining mine... killing each rock 1 by 1 is the only reason I don't mine.

yeah, the fighters have a Mini Razor sold at.......censored........but people say it's pretty much useless...

Mining will never reap the same or better profits as trading, mainly because it'd take a week of playing 24/7 to fill a large train.

As it is it takes about 2 hours or so to fill a miner, depending on where your mining, which has 1400 hold.

I've found a mining spot that gets me about 4.5 mil in profits , no I'm not going to tell you, I found out by looking, so can you.
