Are you sure the Nomad LF can't mount Cannons and Blasters? I had a Nomad LF a long time ago and I had 3 Nomad Blasters on it (My god shields were annoying with that little firepower..) All 3 guns were class 10.. If thats not true anymore, I think it should get those class 10 slots back. 3 Class 9 guns simply don't do enough damage to do anything when you have a full Nomad setup, like most Nomad LFs would. I'd also like seeing the Nomad VHF allowed to be bought by non-keepers. Put Nomad capships on Ioto, but have the LF and VHF available in Omi-99 AND Kappa.

On the loadouts.. NO Shieldbusters.. Honestly. IF you use any, have an Inferno w/ 3 Krakens or Wyrms. No Corsair shieldbusters at all. Dead enemies there, while Outcasts secretly worship them. Any Nomad should be either Nomad Blasters/cannons, or Outcast guns.

hmmm all nomad babies that i saw in past, (i think that were tiral characters before joining keeperS) have similar setup. 3 outcast guns and mini or cd or torpedo. i think it iwas because nomads and outcast are not so hostile as nomads with all other humans. so i think 3 tizonas will be really oorp.

Yup, gotta agree with Global. Krakens, rather than shield busters are the way to go. Teamed with a mini, it's a pretty effective combo.

3 krakens + mini razor

the razor can be used like shield killer. krakens are also strong against graviton, most of player shields use that graviton technology.

I use 3 Kraken 2's 1 mini. I do not look for a fight(i RP as curious about human ship's) but when attacked, i defend myself. So far that setup has not lost me 1 fight 1 on 1 with a fighter/bomber. Cap's run like hell. I also note that all above also agree with this setup.
I myself am not looking to join the oficial nomad's/keeper's(but would accept for fun)I just like the RP with it. So i did not write any story. I let my RP speak for it self(like it or leave it). Also do not expect any RP from a BH/order char. In over a month, i have not had any say 1 word before firing on me. Suit's me fine as they probly would fire on site, but as an order you know all about BH's i am sure.
I have also had a few tell me it is OORP for a nomad to tractor in anything.Pff. I RP it as sustanance for the ship.fuel/part's/food and what not.
In a fight the mini will kill a sheild 1 shot on fighter/bomber's. Then just out fight them till dead. The LF is a truely amazing ship.

I'd much rather see a Nomad with three Blasters than bloody human weapons. I find it really annoying getting raped by Lavablades, or *cough* shield busters, or even worse a trio of Codes. But thats not really an option.

Kraken's aren't much better as any alternative in my opinion, despite these (again, in my opinion) absolute rubbish Nomad-OC relations... Allow me to explain:

In my opinion, a non-Admin intervened Nomad is almost as annoying and (sorry) ooRP as it gets. Exceptions being BHBCs floating around NY looking for a job.

Human weapons on a nomad is like putting your hand to a washing machine and trying to make it go with the power of your mind. Maybe if I think really hard I can make this thing start firing/washing! The power of friendship!

Indy Nomad RP isn't exactly top-knotch in my experience, and I think that it should be an admin approved ship.

I.E. Tagged, dock on Xerna, buy a LF, try to work your way into the Keepers if you so desire. Blasters and Cannons could be sold their. Also, the admins could make a rule dictating that if you buy a Keeper weapon, your privaleges are automatically taken away.

If they wrote a good enough story (ugh) to get a Nomad, in theory they'd know not to touch the Keeper's stuff and would attempt to earn it.

This way I don't get "Lolwutkthnxbai*pewpewpew*" by some renegade Nomad with human weapons, and I then proceed to get "Lolwutkthnxbai*pewpewpew*" by an actualy Nomad. Or, in some cases, given a body cavity search by some curious probing Nomad who wonders why the ship's engine plasma hurts.

Either way, seeing a real Nomad is much prefferable.
