You can't limit the capships like that. Besides, everyone's going to want the best piece of kit. It's up to individual factions to determine which of their players can use them for faction purposes. As for freelancers, they are 'free' to choose whatever ship they want. And if you can RP it in an imaginitive way, then all the better. As for for The Pirates issue about the resources to build them. Just look at how battleships/cruisers/aircraft carriers were pumped out by the warring countries during WW2.

Cheapest Gun boat 100mill should also have less speed id say maybe 70
and the Guns should be able too kill a fighter in what 4 shots but turn slow

This is simple too -- say you make 20mil/run with one train in one hour, multiply by 5 trains running on 2 computers... there are people doing that.

Or whatever cheating/glitch...

RP wise an individial does not have the resources to build and staff a BS.

What would be a better solution to what you are saying is to limit Caps only to factions, in which the leaders have control of allocation of the caps.
Also, this would reduce server lag when every player is going around in a cap in NY.

RP wise, an individual can be a faction on his own if he wants to -- I'll give you an example: Xerxsas Jade (Jade Corporation). And there are a few more, just Jade came to mind.
Restricting the BSs to factions would probably make a lot of players leave, many are here for the ability to fly the BSs.
Lag issue is true, but that should be solved otherwise -- like no NY campers in BSs like we have now quite a few of them.

and if people only come here too fly BS then this is not an RP server

also there is the Lagg issue yes ther would be some sullutions too that

NO FAM and Only one Bs per player that would lessen lagg at least a bit

(My opinion is a bit obsolete, as I do not play very often, BUT)

I think Battleships are fine the way they are. But Pirate has hit a point bang on. They are no way expensive enough.


And at the lad who said he got 300 mil in a few hours, I think he was being metaphorical. Unless he is surrounded by PC's and all his accounts have large trains that is ;)

I actually know Maximilian has atleast 3 computers (that I know about) two of which are macs, as it is now with my girlfriends laptop I can bring in about 20mil a run on the freeport 11 passenger run. 300mil in 3 hours is still alitle far fetched even at that. But due to his repetative boasting here on the forums unfortunately I have to do this:





I feel stupid for not posting these sooner, but he begged me not to tell and promised he wouldn't do it again, based on his bragging (second time I've seen in this week) about his massive money making 'skills' I feel like an imbecile for trusting him.


EDIT: Main reason I didn't report it as I said is because he promised he wouldn't do it again, and I hate seeing people get banned.
