Ok... this is how it happened. I was pirating in omega 3 5k AWAY from freeport 1. A guy name kuun comes and takes over the entire system. Kills a 13th gaurd. He starts firing at me, i run using cruise. Heres were the dumb stuff starts. He goes to cambridge, i get a group of corsairs to kill him, we go there. I DO NOT ENGAGE him in cambrige... But i watch, they fire at me, kill me. I go back to omega 3, they follow, i do not engage. A battleship whos a corsair comes named set, they kill set 5k WITHIN freeport 1. Then i begin to pirate someone. He threatens to report me for rengaging. WHAT!?!??! I thought i could only not rengage him/group? Besides... i never fired at the people i was pirating, so how is this rengaging.. please explain. BTW for the admins who read the sanction forums, WAIT before you just go "lets saunction him" read this.

It was like any other ordinary day for me, do some pirating in omega 3. So i went there in my corsair gunboat with my pirate id. There i pirated 3 people during 4:00 o clock - 5:00 o clock, and then he came. Kuun, a apparently hated bounty hunter amongst the corsairs. He was protecting traders from pirates, so i and a close by corsair tried to kill him. The corsair friend died and i was able to escape by turning on my cruise. I DID NOT RENGAGE HIM. Then i went to the omega 7 jumpgate, and did a bit of pirating there. I pirated 1 person and then went back to freeport 1. Kuun had left to cambrige. I contact a group of corsairs and told them to come to freeport 1. While we all met there, Red, the french, tim (or timal as they called him), were all french players ready to assist. So we went to cambrige, and i watched them fight the two battleships (a certain person, sparxys revenge was also there, another bh battleship). They killed me IMMEDIATLY, so i went back to omega 3, were i hung out for a bit, talking with a corsair. Then kuun come to freeport 1. An orisis battleship came, named Set (or captain Aurelio). They were WITHIN 5k of freeport 1. They talked for a bit, threatening each other, finally kuun began to fire. Set did not fire back until his shields were down to half. At this time they were fighting and i simpley WATCHED and did not engage. He killed set within 5k of freeport 1. I sat there for a little bit, and then went between wikes ice field, and freeport 1, were i met a junker who i attempted to pirate. Then in ROLEPLAY talk, kuun yelled that he was going to report me now for pirating someone. I was just thinking WHAT? I didn't even attack the guy.

Freeports have a 10k cease fire zone. So unless you happen to be pirating nomad infected traders, you're kinda violating the Freeport.
Also, you should not even be in the same system as him if you fled. You fled from him. You should not re-engage. And while you did not re engage, you certainly put yourself in a position you should have not been in. You fled, so you leave him alone. You do not watch him. First off: You could be providing repairs, and last I checked, there was a statement somewhere that stated giving b/b was considered engaging. If you want to watch, ask him first. Don't just go and watch.
While treating with sanctions is not a great thing to do, he's right. You were in Omega 3, and you ran from him there. You then came back and continued pirating. The 4 hour rule is in place specifically to prevent people from doing that! Go somewhere else and pirate. You disobeyed the four hour rule.

Still, even if the cease fire was 5k, that doesn't mean you have to go borderline. It's common sense. If there is a cease fire, you don't go 99% of the way to breaking it, then just stop just before. Just stay away from it.
Also, that doesn't change the fact you continued to pirate in Omega 3 after you first fled from him, and then was later destroyed by him. The fact you were destroyed twice after fleeing is even worse. You should avoid him, not cozy up to him.
And asking for donations from a trader when you're a pirate is still pirating.
