Sorry for not posting, Dopamino - been pretty busy with RL.

I really liked the first one - the one without the ships. Perhaps with a reduced size version of this...

in the little circle where you have the gun. With the number of players, making individual ones that have each player's name isn't feasible, so myabe just naming the ranks and using

the first few of these, although the top row here would be good too, and suits the colour scheme.

You really want the old one? I thought it was rather boring looking. I could just replace the ships with the ranks on the better looking one if you like. I think it would look a lot better.
