Its time I got into this since Im one of the others who RP with Osilion...Yes I am an Anthron and damn proud of it.
I said that part now onto business....RP...Are we not to be bound only by human form in any game we play?
I play as a kitsune escapee from Zone 21....and fly around in a hunk of junk liner...
And if Project X plays as a Repitlie...there's options for him.
Osilion....A Cat-girl...options there as well...
Bob...the same as well...(does nice work for his sigs by the way)

The Keepers..They play as nomads do they not?

I basically started RPing again due to Osilion...which got me back into playing this wonderful game...
So are you...as a whole...going to deny us this?
Everyone has there own opinion on this...and we are able to say what we want on this topic...
In the end here is a simple thing to ask yourself....Should I RP with this character or not? Its down to a matter of one little word...choice.
Oh and for the record..that IS my RP character on my sig....with a Rhienlander, a kusari, and a bretonian..all on the same ship. And it does work.

As for the original topic, I'm of the opinion that as long as they've put the effort into making it an actual character, with a personality and background, rather than a ship with the pilot having a wolf's tail for no reason, then I'd say let them play it.

I agree with this statement, but in a more wordy way

If they decide to play that way, and it makes sense, let it be as far as OOC complaints go. That doesn't mean your characters in game can't have problem with, what the average sirian would probably think of as "That strange furry alien thing sitting in that ship there"
But...really, calling for them to stop roleplaying?

Like Great fox said. Its an RP community. If you can make something work, for gods sake do it. There is only three or four of us, it adds a slight mix into the community, just as nomads, phantoms, AIs do, its something else to RP and something else to respond to.

Nomads are the only other sentient species in Sirius.
Phantoms are 100% human, they only ever hint the possibility of having an alien race behind them.
And AI are made up of 1s and 0s.

Houses may be looking to create new methods of killing people, or getting the upperhand, but breaking the laws of biology isn't on that list I dare say.
A character who was a mix of cat and person would either die very quickly, or not live very long, or be so weak they might as well be dead.
Failure of immune system, etc.
What I mean is, less "Lolyou can't shoot me I have reaction of cat" more "Please don't shoot me, I really don't want to die"
Also, less a case of "I can, so why not?" more a case of "Okay, in hindsight, this doesn't make sense"

I hate to say it, but you aren't exactly embracing the 'negative aspects' of your actions.
You practically yelled at Sirius to accept you for who you are, and I expect Sirius would just start denying you docking rights in most places.
Kusari is racist against it's own race, and generally women are almost secondclass citizens for the most part, furries would be shot on sight or lynched in public.
How often does missy find herself docking in Kusari now, hm?
Most of Sirius is made up of murderers, and like Sprolf said, you gotta accept the negative aspects of your actions.
If someone points a gun at you, using powerplay to defend yourself isn't good RP.
The Black Hole known as Razgriz has recently entered an unstable phase and has linked itself to the warp! Through this link the Chaos gods saw a place which wasn't as... chaotic... as the galaxy they had focused on previously and decided that it would be prudent to send the Chaos space marines who serve them to this strange new place so that the fools who live there will learn of the powers of chaos undivided.
