Do you think there should be gaurd missions? I am kind of torn between yes and no, Not everyone should be a gaurd, so it should be that easy, but it should be easy for those who have to... I havent seen many of these discussions, especially about this. They're spread around everywhere. So, Heres your chance.

There are Guard missions, they're the same missions as the parent faction. Guard rep just goes up slower.

Shouldn't be Guard-specific missions.

I am curious how people are supposed to get Zoner Guard rep after 4.85 hits, since bribes aren't supposed to help any more.

Zoner Gaurd missions versus nomads in that cloud in the gaurd system should be there. Thats how you do it.

Bounty Hunter Guard missions would make it a heck of a lot easier and in Rp to lower you standing with them instead of going into the system and killing a bunch of Bounty hunter Guard NPCs. IF that isn't possible, how about adding some Depots next to the stations to shoot?

The problem is there aren't any Nomads in Omi-74.

Now shooting Nomads doesn't increase your rep with ANYONE right now.. Perhaps making Nomads raise your Order and Zoner rep would be a good thing? It raise Zoner rep relatively quickly, since there aren't missions to take?

Problem is, then people could kill Order and Zoner ships to raise their Nomad rep (I think). I don't believe there are any one-way rep links between factions.

Err, not true I believe.. Everything is a one-way rep link. Empathy must be set for the killing of NPCs to effect a rep. So if Nomads have a 0 Empathy with Zoners and Order, Zoners and Order can still have a -0.5 empathy. This should make it so that killing Nomads raises Order/Zoner rep, but killing Order/Zoner won't affect Nomads.

In my opinion there shouldn't be Guard missions for two reasons.
1) Having Guard rep symbolizes your status with that faction greater than normal rep.
2) Being able to get Guard rep without regular missions is rewarding in the end.

Well if they are going to remove the effect of bribes from zoner guard then they need to add something. Either killing nomads or figure out some mission for the zoners.

But I voted no for guard missions, would make it to easy to get the ID's and therfore Cap ships. Personally I think limitaing Cap ships is a good thing, they should be rare not running in packs.
