Well you CAN have a big ZOI, but not the whole galaxy..choose a ZOI that's fits your RP..You should be enemies with the OC, given that you're anti-nomad and allied with the corsairs.
Removing a few ships that BELONG to your enemies would go a long way..

As for the deposit thing, it is actually a rule: Along with posting a correct request for your faction creation you must provide 500 million credits to the admins, and instruct them from where they can take it(your faction bank which you should have)

Pvp isnt a problem for us. Heres the thing, we come from a vanilla server (an unmodded non-RP based server). So all the RP stuff is new to us. We are doing are best to adhere to the RP we have chosen. For the longest time we had been a Corsairs based clan but we are changing it up to make Freelancer more appealing again. Most of LoA has been playing Freelancer since the game came out and we've only just began to play it solely for RP.

I will edit out the ships that have been pointed out as ships we cannot have. As for the ZoI, we have to learn this through time and exploration. Sorry for the noobieness of our RP ways. We shall improve with time.

In order to be even consider to be official or post in Faction Request, you got to deposit a sum of 500 mill to admins, read the pins on the Faction Request forum.

Well this isn't getting a look in at becoming official until the Admin team gets it's 500 million and as for where this is asked for, read the pinned topics it's all there. Secondly if you want to RP an Order faction talk to SwissScorch of Black Squadron, that man knows the Order like the back of his hand. He can help you with all the roleplay questions. Meantime this is getting moved to a place where I don't have to gansh my teeth everytime I think about deposits.

So far everything said is correct and accurate, and with your application in its current state it will not be accepted. I may not be an Admin, but I've seen enough failed proposals to know what flies and what doesn't.

Your ship list is just too expansive, and really is geared towards a primarily PvP environment, which this server is not. Now for the matter of this being your RP, thats true, but this is our server. And we as the community have a very strong say in what is and is not acceptable.

Have as many ranks as you want, but your story will definetly need to be expanded from where it is now. I'd suggest researching the vanilla and server lore, and then expanding in a realistic manner from there. I cannot stress how important your in-game RP will reflect upon your acceptance as a component of our server dynamic.

I know it's new to you, and it will take some getting used to. But you really must stress to your members that any and all infractions upon the server and forum rules will weigh against your proposal. This really is a dedicated and vibrant RP community, with teeth, lots of teeth. What has happened in the past with long term clan migrations has been less than pleasant for Discovery(DIC anyone?), so a good many people are apprehensive about this. Just keep your wits about you, consider what we say, and always think.

P.S. Your name must also be in RP, so if you could flush out the story on that somewhat I think a lot of people might not be so turned off by the "Lulzpwn" sound of it:)

I will definately be talking to swissScorch about this soon. In the meantime I have been posting everyone's comment made on our RP and will be delt with as soon as possible. I've been editing what has been pointed out thus far as far as ships and faction reputation goes. As far as our RP story, that will take a few days of refinement to be reposted, as well as the ZoI.

So far you've answered every question with a level head, this is going to be essential for your long term survival. Too many clans have come here expecting Discovery to adapt to them. We don't. You adapt to us. Discovery is now so rooted in it's place that asking the community to accept you, warts and all, will never ever fly. If you want some tips on how to integrate a full clan into Discovery without clashing with the rest of the community our two shining examples would be Black Squadron and the Shadow Outcast Brigade, both of whom have made the shift well.

A final counsel for you would be to never ever take anything as a direct attack on your clans history on other servers, it won't be, what you did there was and will remain part of your history but for the purposes of Discovery it cannot figure into what you do here. Your first day here is exactly that your first day. Your deeds from here will impress or upset the community.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Reverend. I know I sound like a broken record when I say thanks, but thats what it is, I thank you people for helping us adjust and adapt to this transitional phase from a vanilla server to this one. We cant however take the pvp out of us and will always have a knack for that dog fight with other fighters. That will never change from within us. As far as our change and it being our first day, shucks , we've been here for about three or four weeks and our role is still unfinalized, but I have been posting each post thats been made here to our forums so that we can think about this in a positive light without the eyes of all of you, of whom we are trying to hammer out a place amongst you all.

Welcome aboard LoA and i hope that you find what your looking for here on Disco. Ive been here for a few months now and im still trying to figure out whos who and who likes who and the other way round :$ It can get very complicated !! Take time to sort out your RP, ask as many people as you can for help and tips. Theres a wealth of knowledge out there, and these guys will be more than happy to help :D

And if i can help in any way please just shout me ingame or on a pm, I dont know everything, but every little helps :D
