...opening communication channel...
~<static>~...
<...tap...tap...tap...>

...is this thing working yet? ...good.

Shyra Loren, captain of the Lyssa, here...hoping someone can hear me...

I am having troubles adjusting my ship's transponder so that it emits the Zoner tag. I thought I had it fixed once. It was actually working for about 10 minutes — at least until I ran a mission. :( I have been struggling ever since to get it working again. It is so close. Can anyone help or offer any suggestions to try?

I'm including a partial readout from my transponder, if that will help. The rest indicates hostile status with most guard factions, Xenos, The Wilde, and Nomads and neutral status will cover the remaining factions.

You have a couple of options. Choose your path:
-You can take and drop GMG missions.
-You can shoot up Bounty Hunters.
-You can shoot up Zoner storage containers until you are at neutral or slightly below. Then, go to FP6 and get the double bribe. Make sure the barkeep offers it BUT DON'T TAKE IT FIRST and that a patron also offers. Change the crowd until one does.

I also discovered that after getting my Zoner rep up as high as yours, logging out and logging in again later helps.
Good luck.

You can actually go shoot GMG as well, but like Doc say's, make sure you get that double Zoner bribe. It can be had on other Zoner posts eg Baffin and Gran Canaria as well as FP6

I'd say do a GMG mission or 2 then drop GMG missions

Unfortunately, bribing Xenos is a good way to piss off half of Sirius.

Bribing the GMG might help. If not, the easiest way would be to blow up some storage containers at FP1 until you're Zoner-neutral, then the double-bribe as already suggested.

Do Order missions?

That will raise GMG at the same speed as Zoner, right?

Ahh, that did it! :yahoo: ... at least after I re-established communications. Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions. Now the question becomes, how do I keep the transponder in tip-top condition? As I mentioned previously, I thought I had it fixed once before, but it only lasted about 10 minutes. Must be a faulty transponder.

Closing communications...for now.

Don't kill Xenos, Order, GMG or Freelancers and your IFF should be fine.
