yes you can actually make it go over as well as the cargo limitations, if you wanna try you can but you won't be the first to experience character file corruption if it happens because of it.

I don't think I want to try. Took me my entire time on the server to make it, I don't want to lose it now.

If you're intent on pushing the envelope, I would highly suggest you cap your limit at no higher than 1.85B cause it's best to give yourself a decent amount of wiggle room just incase you receive a substantial credit transfer from people. Surf too close to the edge, & one x-fer too many will cause a wipeout.
