You may try to use a random open SP mod. Just pick the most popular. A special Open SP for Discovery was never created.

What stuff do you mean? Ships? Commodities? There are not many new items and commodities, I doubt if it's worth to play single to get to know where they are.

Of course not. Maybe you need best traderoutes analysis in mod readme? it spoils the trading part of the game.

You can get this info from Freelancer datastorm. but it will spoil the game...

i mean ships, cause otherwise iil be like a nOOb and ask 'hey guys, where do i buy bretoinian bc' ect. ect.

First of all, locations of many ships are in the readme. Next, about battleships and cruisers that are not listed in the readme, no on will consider you noob if you ask. No one remembers where they all are, even I don't (though it was I who put them there). One clue: all of those ships are located on House planets. There are not so many to search.
