' Wrote:Yep, speaking as one of the CR(aka OC haters:P), I would like to see more action in Tau 23, and that's where you conveniently go in..
I hope to have some good RP with you before I blow you up:P..
Just kidding.. I hope everything will work out great for you..
Thank you Flamewinf We are looking forward making Tau - 23 hot spot and RP active
I would like you to consider the RP on your side as IMG you enemies of corsair but still group with them and the use of nomad tech is also off. i hope you can see my point and change it .
we are small force using small vessels, you wont have to call the corsair reinforcement as they are not your allies and shouldn't be grouped with your forces in any activity.
I asked many times before and ill do it again now
Please get your RP straight IMG Vipers shouldn't be equip with nomad tech.
Alot of effort is going into this by the guys involved & as far as that goes, so far so good...keep working at it.
(watch though, there is going to be a 'but')
(wait for it...wait for it...)
...
But I admit that I always tend to have issues with 'start up' factions from new community members.
Why not start off joining an existing faction & RP it with them as an established faction that stets up their people in your area of choice? Then, later on down the line y'all can splinter off & break your dependence on the parent faction & still operate there.
It doesn't matter how long a person plays the game. The server becomes a whole different animal once a person joins the forums, & playing in an established faction for a number of months to learn the 'community ropes' is the best way to adapt to the change.
I see alot of well thought out faction proposals from newbs that come & go in the blink of an eye because they couldn't adapt...so I really think that joining a faction & have them help 'show you the ropes' is better than taking the proverbial 'ropes' out on your own from the start, only to run the risk of hanging yourselves with them before the springtime.
About that part concerning new community members: yes, there are a lot of players that are playing much longer than we are. But please ignore the date when I joined the forums, I'm on disco for about half a year now, but at the beginning I was only reading without registering. And I also had to register twice. I'm not sure what went wrong the first time, but I was waiting for about 3 or 4 weeks to get my account approved before I decided to try it again. (First time it was because of some insults I had the pleasure to read. But that player never showed up again).
As not all rules are obvious if you just joined, I learned a lot in game, fortunately almost every time due to someone else getting told about while I myself was around (well, at least fortunately for me I guess). And thanks to 4 years fantasy-role-play experience I never even thought about equipping a dragon fighter with Rheinland weapons or something like that. Would be like Elves riding Warghs...
Well, there's still the "show you the ropes"-thing. But since I set up my first outcast character I always tried to act close to the factions, to keep up to date about the "local issues". And cooperation between outcasts and their allies has become a little bit asleep if I got that right. We know that any agreements to revive it will have to work in both directions, but we would like to try reviving it. (It's hard to write down what I really want to say, I just hope I managed to point in the right direction.)

As for the nomies, we are slowly decreasing the number of them, and all new ships do not have them. But I am not in charge of any of our policies anyway. I am just expressing my opinion
And as for the Corsair thing, I see it this way:
1. Corsairs are, NPC-wise, not hostile to the IMG, at least not expressively. It is not mentioned in the relations page.
2. Diplomacy is not written in stone, what the situation was in the years of the SP campaign does not necessarily need to be the situation "today".
3. Why wouldn't having a common enemy (outcasts) bring our two factions closer? As the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Though I see your point about the nomad weapons, the corsair-IMG alliance/friendly thing will most assuredly never be gone.
But your branch of the outcasts does not need to worry about joined Corsair-IMG operations in 23, mainly because we only cooperate in battles in Alpha or eventually Tau-37. Plus we are not the sort of players that deliberately vastly outnumber their opponents, because it is not fun at all without a challenge.
Good luck to you again, and may we meet in the field of battle soon..

I agree with every word couldnt have put it another way
i learned by watching and sticking to the known faction of the Outcast to learn what is right and wrong i probably got into a lot of trouble if i would went and be on my own ,
we have a plan as you can read, its thought through and we put our effort figuring things out it is not done but it is a good start

This is 100% correct if we are the mutual enemy and the corsair are fur from you and dont interfere with your daily routine than it is correct.
Well they don't interfere with our daily routine, but why wouldn't we mount operations against Alpha because it benefits us all in many ways, and does not harm us? We don't have any interests against each other. All to gain and nothing to lose.
We operate together only in Alpha because it is between us, sort of a rendevous if you will. But does it not seem sound to not just be friendly, but cooperate against the common enemy?
However, I wish to point out, again, that I am not in charge of our policies, I am just stating MY opinion.

I don't think you should be neutral to Bretonian corporations, sinc attacks against the BMM Tau-31 Gate Construction site are often made by Cali-based Outcasts.
We could maybe change BMM and Planetform to unfriendly as they have bases in Tau-space. I just thought of them as neutral because of some news you can read in the bar at different stations or planets. They are added for discovery as they report about the war and as far as I have read them Kusari gained the upper hand. So I thought it would be the best for the outcasts to step Kusari in the back as their victory would allow them to gather their forces for an assault on Cali. (also taken from those news, they wrote that Kusari used the cease-fire to concentrate on the outcasts)
But thanks for that heads-up, maybe we should make a more detailed bretonia-policy.
