Raven, Pre-proposal....

No offence, but about an hour ago i witnessed one of the Raven tagged players in new york with massive amount of ooc. Threating to come back after he was killed with a cruiser to camp the place. Not to mention the player was also cutting short words such as the letter "u" being used for the word you. maybe a crack down on some of your members would be in order.

As i aware the Raven was not in the wrong, and the offending LSF fighter apologised for his OORP actions and there was no rengagement. I would think you should slag off the LN before you come here talking of things that are nothing to do with this thread!

Just as a recommendation, not personal but everyone should really do this....

Have new members stay out of New York completely for a week or two. Especially for a newer faction, it is the place to get sanctions/ooRP crap/faction-ending badness. New York is madness

Just a couple issues that I can see here, take 'em as you will:

1) Will there be limitations on the ships you can use for each rank? Something that I would definitely like to see.

2) This doesn't really have much to do with your post here, but I would like stricter punishments for members that don't follow the rules (i.e. the stuff that got Raven a bad reputation in the first place, and they weren't punished to my knowledge)

Other than that, this application looks rather sound. I'm glad you changed the way to spell the name too, makes it seem much more professional. Anyways, good luck, hopefully people won't be biased against you guys after this.

EDIT: Are you guys still cannibals? Because I don't think a lot of your allies would approve of this, IMO. If you're able to integrate that into your RP well, then I don't suppose it'll be such a problem, just something to keep in mind.

Well, From what Jackal has told me, recruits (usually) have to start with a fighter, and work there way up to choose if they want a capital ship.

Excellent improvements, especially since the first proposal. That being said, a more defined ZOI would be nice. For example, you're banished from Malta, so will you ever be entering alpha for reasons apart from ship purchase?

Also, for the purpose of the allies of the outcasts, a good chunk of them are allied with outcasts due to the fact that outcasts will provide support and/or Cardamine. How are you maintaining these relations with allies, or are we just going to assume that non-outcasts don't know of your exile status? (Allies not knowing is a perfectly reasonable explanation I think, I'm mainly asking for idle curiosity on my part)

Emon, I believe the raven rule for ships is: You have the ship before joining the Ravens, because were not allowed in Alpha.


ZOI: Like said before, Everywhere outcast go... Actually, they probably wouldn't come to the omicrons, I'd say like

New york, Britonia, The Taus and some other places such as that... I'm not completely sure.

And your last point said Emon, is very helpful indeed. I believe that the exile is strictly Outcast, and no allies know about it.

Zephyr has taken over the leadership role of the Ravens. He has also been wise enough to ask current official OC factions on advice & role play criteria, as well as the community at large here on the forums.
Before I make my suggestions & comments.. I would like to first applaud Zephyr on taking on the responsibility of turning a group that started out as a OORP/PVP disaster & making every effort to change it into a good role play group that with some polishing & guidance from all, may make a good addition to the OC & Disco.

Now for my suggestions & comments,
1st, in your diplomacy list, you left out {SOB} Shadow Outcast Brigade ( no one ever remembers us ..*pout* )

2nd, I'm guessing your primary source of profits & income will be pirating? Do you have set guidelines & rules for how you will decide amounts to be asked & such?

3rd, Unless you have contacted each group out side of the Outcasts, would recommend placing them in your neutral list until you have established some diplomacy with them. ( make sure they are willing to be friendly before assuming they are)

Are begging to be flamed & cause instant animosity towards your groups intentions from others in the community. Remember, most posting here are tryng to give advice or suggestions, yu will get some flames, that's normal. Take em with a grain of salt & keep your composure. It will carry you much farther than lashing out .

we are indeed banished from malta and omicron alpha, as i am aware we are only allowed into the motherland to get our id / iff and then leave. of which i have heard from many OFFICIAL outcast clans that this is the understanding we have with them. i personally respect the power of other outcast clans and always ask permission before docking on malta, as i believe this is good roleplay. as for the cannibal / nomad thingy i can quite clearly state now that being cannibals is part of who we are although not all ravens have to RP cannibals when they interact with other ppl although i do profusely:D..
worshipping nomads is gonna be a hearsay rumour but under no circumstance will we use nomad tech!
there will be no restrictions on which ships new ravens can use upto I would say GBs with prior permission from the higher ups, the maximum class of ship ravens will use will cruisers of the type RHPC, or Talarca (Need Clarification on the talarca as it is on a Lawful base *Sigh*).
Our ZOI will be everywhere the outcasts go except Alpha, Beta, 85 etc.. but there will be no restictions as to which ranked ravens can go where, as I think this would hard to police and a bit OTT..
This is after all a Pre Proposal so not everything I have said is 100% correct and some is subject to change coincided with the Community's Thoughts.
Punishments for Ravens who break the rules of the server or our laws can vary from anything like a warning upto being voted out as Raven goes by a democratic system for many inclan decisions including members!
