Comm System: OPEN
To: The Director, S/D Agency
From: Agent Carly Denver, Rostock Station
Subject: Report

I'd heard rumours from other guild members that those strange people in Omega-56 had all vanished without a trace, so I went to investigate. As it turns out, those rumours were entirely correct. The only people I could see there were regular Guild members snooping around, who were apparently as baffled as I was. Both stations were empty. The overall effect was more than a little bit creepy, so I retreated to the normalcy of Rostock to take stock of what I had just seen.

Do we have any idea at all what happened? Because that trip gave me the shivers. The absolute shivers.

Well was patrolling around Munich and Frankfurt when I hear a message from APM-Gemini. Seems we had a few blokes in Cambridge that needed taken care of. Agent Starr was also in Rheinland so we set up to rv at Stugart gate. I headed over and when I got to the gate Agent Starr was hit by a localized Ion storm and had to dock for a bit. Just when I was going to head over to Cambridge I heard an interesting exchange over the system comms. Seems there was a rat in system preying on the traders. I ran a quick sweep and found them sitting by the lanes on the way to New Berlin by the Sigma jump hole.

Now there were 2 of them. A VHF and a Gun boat from trader reports. So I sat at NB trying to figure out how to get these two to either move on or die under my guns. Right then Agent Starr launched and we decided to take them. He made is way to NB. Now I had been keeping up a steady banter with the rats but a minute before Starr showed up they had gone silent. We found out that turned tail and ran. One was one of the D.Brothers...the other I am unsure of. Since he was silent and I only had a quick flash of him on radar.

So now Agent Starr and I were going to head over to Cambridge to check out this Blessed Heretic bloke. Starr need to dock for a bit at Bonn so I took the chance to refuel there also. Now I land and refuel. Get some coffee and head back into space for Cambridge. Apparently I flew right by some cocky pain in the arse Hessian named Jonas Schuster. Honestly there were 6 ships around Bonn when I launched and 2 were Junkers so I did not even think twice about another red contact. I hit the Gate to Stuttgart and I get a message on my private comms.

Well this bloke starts calling me all sorts of nice stuff and saying I am fleeing from the Great Jonas Schuster. I tell him who? I have no Idea who you are and though he was with the junkers. Well that sets him off and he starts calling me all sorts of things. OY', we go back and forth for a bit. I let him know that I have other things to attend to and I will come back to play with him later.

Now he told me to pass on that Rheinland is his and all us S/D need to stay out or he'll kill us all. Seems Starr had a run in with him and came off on the bad end.

Now about this time I get to O-3 and just about the time I see Freeport 1 I also see this Heretic bloke. Since he docked, and I can not touch him outside in O-3 let alone that close to a freeport I stationed myself at the BS Norfolk to wait to see if he shows up. After a bit he it was apparent he had docked for the day. Heck I even tried to see if Schuster wanted to play but he had dropped off the comms also.

Well Mates I think we are gonna have a real issue with this Schuster bloke.

So I am at BS Norfolk so I can keep an eye out in Bretonia.

Dane out

Well since exploration has been non existent lately I had the Arrow fighter mothballed at Sheffield and pulled my Manta out. Had her refitted for anti-fighter combat and am now back at Bonn Station ready for patrols.

TO: All pilots
FROM: Sir Douglas Bader, Assistant Director
RE: Bounty payments

I have submitted requests for payment to the authorities for these most recent bounties:

Special Agent Feral engaged and destroyed Decoy, a Corsair ID'd Turanic Freighter in Bretonian space.

Special Agent Feral engaged and destroyed Fausto, a Corsair ID'd Gunboat in Bretonian space.

Agent Feral has already contacted RepEx directly regarding their specific bounty on Fausto.

My point: Boys and girls, if you don't post your kills here, then I can't submit them for invoicing, now can I? We've had some nice payments come into the company coffers due to everyones working together. Let's keep up the good work. AP Manufacturing has done an awesome job of getting supplies to fulfill our needs for equipment. We've been doing some good work in Rheinland - now let's make sure we get PAID for it, okay?

Thank you.

Combat Report

Got a call while on Sheffield that there was a Corsair Gunboat raiding Cambridge. I hopped into my Manta and headed that way as quickly as possible. I was contacted by S/D Alpha, and we met almost at Cambridge orbit along with two BAF pilots.

The net result:

One dead corsair...

I did get a guncamera clip from the combat as well.

Combat Report

The crew of the S/D-Surma got a chance to stretch her legs tonight in Cambridge. We had just finished a rather grueling computer modification, getting the IFF changed to Guild Guard. We were enroute to Rostock and stopped at Cambridge to refuel. Upon undocking, we noticed an Outcast IFF on scanners.

Turns out it was some scumbag named Scipio, and I couldn't find a bounty on him, so we engaged in some verbal battery for a while. During this time, we noticed Captain Mainwairing of the BAF come into system, and I asked him to come run this jerk off. Well, apparently there were some Molly's in the system as well, and Aubrey asked for a bit of assistance.

Guess what? It was a freaking convention of Molly's in Cambridge. Four of them had come for a visit. We had Kate.Donnely, [MR]-Ghostface, [MR]-Robert.Emmet, and [MR]-Baile.Ryan.

Well, right in the middle of the combat, a damn ion storm came through. Our computer did a hard reset, and the next thing we knew, we were back in Cambridge orbit. Not to be deterred, we headed back out for a quick patrol of the lanes, to see if there were any distressed travelers. Lo and behold, we found these four chumps back at the New London jump gate.

Since gunships are, after all, anti-fighter vessels, I told these guys that they had one opportunity to clear out of Bretonian space. Instead, they chose to fight. During the course of the combat, a mercenary that happened along, name of Sigfried, got fried. I tractored his escape pod in, since he was at least TRYING to collect the bounty. After that I just concentrated on one of them at a time, and Kate fell to our guns.

The other three Molly pilots decided that discretion was the better part of valor shortly after that, and took me up on my offer of their lives. Two of their ships were so badly damaged that they never made it out of the system - Ghostface and Ryan both found themselves in their escape pods in the hold of the third ship.

Based on what I'm seeing on the bounty boards, I think I just earned a rather decent sum. 250,000 credits from the Battleship Essex plus potential bonus, since I did destroy an independant Molly and ran 3 [MR] pilots out of the Cambridge. Plus this little bit, too:

Quote:every pilot of the Molly Republic is worth 3.5 million Sirius Credits
Juno Elizabeth Kietan

The first AND the second rounds are on me when we get paid for this one.

Patrol Report

I'm officially taking a day off after this night.

Took off on what I thought would be a routing patrol in Cambridge. First thing I noticed on my scanners was the presence of Phate: hanging around in Cambridge. Aside from wondering what a Lane Hacker was doing down in Bretonian space - I figured it was, if nothing else, worth investigating.

Well, I ran the lanes first, and found nothing. So I headed up towards the Leeds JH. That's where the little bugger was - just sitting there, right by the JH. I scanned his ship from range, and figured that my ship was worth more than he was - especially since he had an escape path right there - so I just told him to get out. After a couple of taunts, he did.

I started heading for Cardiff, to resume my patrol, when I saw on scanners a couple of 'friends' entering the system from Leeds as well. I thought we were going to have a re-match from before - and the silly buggers changed ships on me. So there were two Barghest bombers and a gunship out there for me to deal with this time.

Since there's STILL a huge bounty on Mollies - I asked the crew, and they said, let's go for it.

I wish I had gun camera footage of the whole thing. It would be a GLORIOUS video to play, even without actually killing any of them. I concentrated on the bombers, trying to down their shields, and did a darn good job of keeping them hopping and running. We fought - and fought - and fought some more. After almost an hour of holding my own against these three, two BAF pilots and another hunter pilot came to Cambridge, and the Mollies ran away.

During this time, also, a group of Corsairs entered the Cambridge system as well, as well as an APM ship, the Virgo. The APM-Virgo called me and said that he'd seen Corsairs near Cardiff, and was running for the protecting guns of the Battleship Norfolk. Since the Mollies were gone, I headed that way as quickly as possible. Just shy of the Norfolk, I spotted two Corsairs in the lane, towards Cambridge. After telling these guys that I'd like to collect the bounties on their heads, I headed towards them.

Well, this didn't QUITE go as they thought it would, apparently. On basically their second run at me, I took One-Eyed Jacks shields down completely - and his torpedo shot at me ... backfired on him, to be polite.

His compadre ran away with his tail between his legs, and I left the BAF in pursuit of him. I then escorted the APM-Virgo to New Berlin, checking in with the RM that I was just passing through. The Surma is currently docked at Rostock, undergoing minor repairs and a slight change in weapons loadout.

I don't know if Sir Andrew Stuart would consider any of our actions for either a bonus for routing the enemy or not - I wish I could outright claim the kill for the corsair but stupidity on his part is ... well, his fault. Either way, I think that the Surma has come through THESE combat trials with flying colors.
