oh, i m sure it ll be good. - first, people will be excited - then the excitement will wear off and reasonable thoughts will be shared about how the balance of powers will be setup.
some factions are already meant to roam gallia freely, others will have to reason to go there - but all in all, the whole system is quite flexible. - in the end, its the players that make up reasons and restrictions themselves.
many factions have "reason" to go there. - many will argue to go there, many will claim to have more rights to be t here than others....
and meanwhile the zoners will take over the "old" part of sirius:laugh:
Don't forget the Coalition. They will be on green status with the Council and the other sub-outlaws, Unione Corse and/or even Maquis. However, being funded and backed by a shady governmental network might drag the Maquis out of this very bond.
Bounty Hunters are not included, for they would have no authority in Gallia. Bounty Hunters can only hunt people in places where they were given power to do so. 3 of the current houses (NPC-wise, not player-wise), granted the BHG permission to hunt people in their territory. Kusari is the exception. BHG do not have the authority to hunt anyone inside of Kusari save Shikoku (and Okinawa in coming version). Omicrons, Independent, and Border Worlds don't really have any governments, so they don't need permission in those locations. Mercenaries and Freelancers are the exception, simply because there can be Gallic forms of both. Gallic mercenaries and Gallic Freelancers, just as there are Bretonian and Kusarian ones.
Corsairs aren't, since they would have to travel through Bretonia (hostile), Kusari (hostile), or Outcasts (hostile). Going through Kusari and the Outcasts would require them to travel through a home system just to reach Gallia. Bretonia they will be in the middle of a warzone as they try to reach the Taus, and they are hostile to BOTH sides.. Not a safe place. Even if a few manage to make it through, they will be small and fast ships, since moving large transporting ships through such areas would be impossible. Plus they would then have to get BACK out, AND avoid the Gallic Royal Navy and Police. The entire area will be nothing but enemies for Corsairs, and Gaians as well. Only thing Gaians have above Corsairs is that they start right next to Gallia, meaning BAF will be less of a problem, and because of their neutrality to KNF and alliance to AFA.
Explorers would be discouraged by the Gallic Navy, but encouraged by the Council. So its a mix up there.
Gallia is by far not homegenous block, while Council generally welcomes lawfull (not Outcast) visitors and seeks contact with other houses, the part controlled by GRN sees whole Sirius as enemies.

Any reason why Coalition shouldn't be hostile to any part of Alliance? I don't see any.
Igiss says: Martin, you give them a finger, they bite off your arm.
I could imagine my little NLH checking Gallia for some polluters and try to persuade them to not do such things:). Well, an entrance will be exactly 1 jump out of the Gaian's Guard system, so i don't really see why they shouldn't go into at least the first system.

Ahm, are Corsairs and Kusari hostile in 4.85? I remember Corsairs, Farmers and KNF fighting against GC/Dragons some time back. Would say they are the unfriendly side of friendly.
Of course, i don't know what will be next version.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

I fully intend for Bowex's exploration wing to take an active role in the upcoming mod, with a small fleet of Repair Ships being based in Orkney to represent a Bowex exploration fleet. Fighters could receive bats/bots from them then aim out for Galia.
Of course the ships wouldn't dock with Gallic bases, at first at least, and exploration logs would be kept. I had really wanted a Barge, but according to what I heard about it, that's be impossible.
