noob question

Okay, i have a question. I am currently flying a Indy Bowex IFF'd and ID'd trade ship, i have my eye on procuring a container transport, witch is only sold on New Tokyo. So my question is, would it be, oorp with my current iff an ID to own that vessel, or should i transfer to another trade faction like Interspace or DSE before i buy it?

Bowex flies the C-Trans. Ship aquisition is largely ooRP (GMG ships in Rheinland, etc.).

I'd switch to another trader ID to quell the ingame finger-pointers, but if you posted intent here, I don't see you having a problem.

I have to disagree here. This is not a situation of oorp ship sale location. The C-Trans infocard clearly states that it is built in Kusari. It is a Kusari ship, and I dont think Bretonian shipping companies should be using them.

Okay, so say i switch my faction to, interspace, then procure the vessel. would it be oorp to buy and sell cargo in britonia. Ofcourse, i will not be trading between britonia or kusari, but like liberty to britonia, but with the C-transport?

This ship is built in Kusari and is usually used for supporting space station construction sites.

Hey, I had no idea you were Bowex) tagged! Bretonian traders in Kusari :O I may have been a little harsh on you if I had known! Unless I'm mixing you up with someone else in the system.

I'm wondering, are you the one who accidently crashed into new tokyo? I have the profits from your diamonds that I could send you. By the sounds of it, you didn't intentionally crash into the planet:P

Edit: Oh, I think it you would be able to go the interspace route, and trade with bretonia. Best to check on each systems legal codex. Interspace is mainly based in Liberty though, so your best bet would be to go with a liberty transport. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Eh? I have no idea what you're talking about. i have no Bowex) tagged ships. Also, I was using interspace as an example. i detest liberty ships and will not fly any of them.

The Container Transport dosnt scream "Kusari" at me, unlike the Big Dragon or the Bumblebee, and, if I encountered you doing legal trade runs in Bretonia with one, I wouldn't give it a second glance.

Transports are a tricky one-no NPCs fly any, bar Armored Transports, Transports, and Train variants.

I'm of the opinion that, unless it looks like a house ship, treat it as a generic ship (on the flipside, how many KSP would spare a Train or a Large Transport a second glance? Yet, both of these are flagged as "Bretonian" ships on the Wiki)

Good Idea, so, i have bought the ship. But, i reverted back to a generic Trader ID until i decide what i finally want. i guess i'm just going to powertrade for a bit.:laugh: while i make that decision.
