Civilian or Taiidan Bomber

Well, i will try a bomber char (zoner) now, but I cannot decide what is the best one to fight nomad GB/BS and fighters

suggestions?

(i know the taiidan has 2 torpedo slots, but the civilian has more hull.....) :mellow:

The Civilian Bomber has two slots as well. Plus, it's cheaper (a mistake I believe). The Taiidan bomber is supposed to be a GMG ship, so is still an in-character choice for a Zoner character. How about you buy them both in Open Singleplayer, shoot some nomads and do some tests? See which one you like the most, then buy it on the server.

Taiidan. The civvy is messed up right now, and the Taiidan rocks. Also fits well for a Zoner, as they are allies of the GMG.

I have to agree with Orin, the Taiidan bomber is one of the best bombers. The Civilian bomber doesn't handle as well, and is a much larger target.

Civilian Bombers are less likely to attract unwanted attention from GMG enemies, but they do have a docking/CD issue, which the Taiidan dosn't.

I would choose the Civ bomber because it will be better in 4.85. Of course it is cheaper.

Go with the Civvy one. It's a great ship (I've used it since I registered on the forums, and I have never had any problems with its bugs) and it would be better for the RP of the Zoners (since you produce them).

Sir, have you ever flown the Civilian Bomber? I didn't think so. The bugs are negligible, they really are, and from what you said, it sounds like you are just promoting the Taiidan for its PvP aesthetics rather than the role of the ship itself.
