a very heavy fighter only has ~90 cargo holds, i't's a waste to take someone out for $50k-$100k worth of cargo.

I won't be out to steal cargo, I have something else in mind....

Very true. But it's not considered very good role-playing on some servers and can even result in a ban or deletion. The Jolt servers are the strictest I've come across. Not sure what Igiss' opinion would be...?

In my entire Freelancer career, I have never once quit the game when I knew I was about to be killed and lose items. I consider it cheating, :rtfm: but I don't usually preach it to others when the Admin has a different view. :nyam:

It's not easy to prove whether the player really quitted right when he was about to be killed. Enforcing strict rules about that may result in false charges.

I wouldn't call it cheating. I would call it survival. If I feel treathened AT ALL, I will either dock immediately with a station (if I feel I can reach it) or I quit.

As long as I'm a trader (flying a freighter or transporter) then I will not fight no matter what. If I get attacked I'll escape (if possible) or quit.
