In regards to that CR/OC fight yesterday;

First, the Huntress was sold off.. The owner didn't know he wasn't allowed to have it. Its an Outcast Dest now if I remember correctly. I was flabbergasted when I saw it on the online list yesterday.

That kind of indie spam is precisely why we're trying to get it regulated.. As I'm sure your aware, this is for the benefit of the other readers.

However, the only thing I have to say against you is that you should have run the fight in Tau-37 if you wanted an organized event. I can't fully blame the indies for attacking you, cap spam or no, if the fight was happening in Alpha. If it were in Tau-37, I'd come down on any OC that interfered with a pre-arranged fight.. Many indies have the mind of 'protect Alpha no matter the cost' and don't care how its defended, which is why no pre-arranged fights should be taking place there.

laowai, theres one problem over the faction and indie depate on the forums...
most independant capspammers dont even have a forum account,
so could an admin try a check and see how many independant BS's and cruisers actually have an account? because i doubt that it will be not many.

There is no way for them to check that. Server accounts aren't linked to forum accounts.. There isn't something that tells an admin if a character's owner has an account here on the forums.

Ok, I appreciate you explaining everything to the pilot of the former Huntress. I didn't mean it as an attack against you, just mentioned it on the way.

And yes, it should've been in 37, or alternatively, in 23. It was my idea to try and set it up, and to be frank, I didn't do many arranged fights before, so this was not guaranteed to succeed. But a man learns on his mistakes I guess. I hope possibilities of arranged fights between us won't disappear because of one incident, with regard to opinions and skepticism from both ends.
I hope next time, if there is one, will be better, and will try to make it better, so that both your and our RP and fun will improve. Thank you for listening..

There is, check the account IP against a forum IP search, but that takes ages, and they wouldn't want to do that I would say.

I was speaking more of an automatic and reasonable way for them to do it.. I would NEVER ask an admin to go through 40,000 forum members.. And then again and again as they find one and move on to the next.

True - but with all respect this is off topic. I'm not talking about things that go on on the forums, i was talking about people taking action in game, where the issue lies.

It was a polite enough question. The line underneath it referred to Xelgion's statement that he had not seen a good independent player. The clan in quotation marks was the word Xelgion had used. as opposed to the word faction. (Hence, lack of 101st flame.)

I'd leave it alone simply. If factions can't exact much authority over indies -- it'll stay as it is for a long time to come... soo... POINTLESS!

For the time being... if you Maltese feelin' like attacking - Factionized I advise to go down south to Crete, while sending the indies up north to us. I asure they'll be dealt with properly:P

I just want to say, I am aware you can't control indies well, but could those RA be advised NOT TO fly with 4 rocket launchers and spam all the time? Or someone could explain the rules of re-engaging to them(I won't say which one of them did it), cause it seems I didn't get to them when I explained it last time, and I don't wish to resort to cowardly reporting.
