Hey guys, most you probably don't know who I am coz' I havn't played the game in like 3 months, but when I installed the mod on my other machine, which runs Vista, and followed DBoy's instructions on the workaround and stuff it showed the server but it did not let me connect, it said it was possible that the server was offline, which is not true coz' I saw players online... Anyone have any suggestions? Please I'm desperate to play this game a gain :(

Tracert to your IP is fine, pretty much up to the time it reaches your local network ...
Its a firewall or anti-virus problem. Read through some of the recent threads in here concerning software,
and settings. The two below this one cover exactly the same thing.

If you noticed the IP adress of the server was most likely comming up with a CRC code instead of the normal 82.113.48.5. Go to your Network adapter settings and make sure Microsoft TCP/IP version 6 is unticked. Give this a shot if you havnt already.
