Our time for mourning is at an end. I speak not only of my predecessor, but all those who died before her in the same struggle. We have been through the halls of Hades, eluded oblivion, even as it reached out to our ancestors of the 13th tribe.
Here we stand at the threshold of a new beginning. A planet, yes, but more than that. We have a chance to break the cycle of collapse. We don't have to go through this again as we did before. We are in dimentions untraveled by the Lords of Kobol themselves and therefor we will thrive. Here we find our true home, amongst the peoples of Sirius, some of whom even preserve the traditions of the original Colonists from Kobol many yarons ago.
Here is where the cycle stops. Here is where we live.
