At least every system with a corsair base in it, is considered (partial) corsair space. Omicron Gamma is the homesystem of all corsairs, most of them are there. Expect to be killed on sight when entering omicron gamma. Omega-41 has Leon base (corsair) and a freeport (zoners). You can hide on the freeport, but apart from that, expect to be killed on sight if corsairs see you. Omega-5 has Cadiz base (OPG-base -> corsair) and Ronnenburg Base (Red Hessians), A bh has no base there, since both are hostile. Expect to get killed by both corsair and red hessians. Omicron Delta has Yaren Base and a Freeport. This is mainly the system where bh's hang out, this is where order, corsairs (and maybe zoners) fight the nomads. It's possible that corsairs will attack you, if you are out of the savezone of the freeport. Omicron-91 is the corsair guard system (also home of The Brotherhood), Any non-corsair being there is Kill on Sight, allied factions need to get permission to enter this system first. The other places hoodlum named have only corsair npc's, so I myself wouldn't consider that as Corsair territory, see it as some sort of border-patrol. Most part of the system will be free of corsair npc's, thus the chances of getting killed by a corsair is smaller. However, corsairs like to pirate in some of those systems, so if you happen to be in the way, they likely change course and neutralize the possible treath.

Well I'm there with my newbish questions too !!! (Yay !! I'm a naab too.)

Why have the bounty hunters bigger ships that the bombers when 2 bombers can take out any capital ship ?
Why a corsair may not see a bounty hunter like a treat when he's not supposed to know all bounty it may exist on him ?

Why are all those questions on CORSAIRS VS HUNTERS when there are the OUTCASTS as well ?!? (The outcasts are dead ? Cardamine overdose ?)

It would be a bad move.

Oh and don't forget Omega 47, It has the Hessian base Casablanca and the Corsair Battleship Fes.
Expect to get blown up by both there.

I like how Agmen put it there very neatly.

A bounty hunter hunts people for money. No pay means no play (what comes to the engagement).

So if every hunter would keep this in mind in the server the perception of the hunters would be very different.

One big problem is the stereotypical "bounty hunter":

Trader who power-trades -> buys a BH BC (or battleship or other bounty hunter cap) -> goes on killing spree blasting traders and acting like being on a personal crusade against all the criminals just out of the goodness of his heart.

This kind of activity has very little to do with role playing the hunter. I see to my delight that you actually browse the bounties list and the forums in general. This will definitely benefit you greatly.

And one big reason why Corsairs (and other criminals) attack you is that you fly a cap ship. To them you are just a stereotypical "bounty hunter". And how could I blame them? Your ship and your name is no different than the other 100 guys flying the BC. Your willingness to RP does not show in the scanners. You got about 5-10 seconds to make them think otherwise before they come for you. So please use /setmsg macro and think of appropriate text reply to situations like those. Even better: Do not get into situations like that.

It takes a lot of time and effort to establish your character in the minds of your enemies, so that they even give you time to RP. And flying a the ship you like to fly is even harder to properly RP. The jobs requiring the BH BC are very scarce - and for a reason.

If the bounties (the general and a good portion of the individual bounties) would be open to caps, what would happen? A sizable swarm of Battlecruisers engaging one lone Titan (or Sabre or Odin or Greyhound...)
It certainly would not promote any role playing. It would not be even remotely believable that a huge invasion fleet goes after a single fighter or bomber. In Star Wars the Empire can mobilize the whole fleet to go after the Millennium Falcon, but this is Discovery.

This is not a bash on BH caps. Just how things are seen in the server. To properly role play a Bounty Hunter cap must be one of the hardest roles to play. You constantly have to deal with people insulting you, cursing you, flaming you, threatening with sanction, attacking you en-masse, attacking you without warning and so on. If you really have decided to though it out in a cap here are a couple of steps (easy to remember but harder to restrain yourself to) that will go a very long way establishing your character and ship among the server.

1) Use ONLY RP weapons. Use a "fair play setup". So no all missile turret loadouts.
2) Make absolutely sure your reputation board is ok
3) Do not engage first unless there is a specific bounty and a very good portion of the RP preceding the engagement
4) Avoid engagements. Do not fly into Omegas to stir up trouble and systems where you are bound to run into trouble.
5) Do not enter any fights uninvited. Do NOT gank (meaning do not go in for the kill if you see a lone enemy, or enemies, already engaged by the friendlies).
6) If you see say a situation like 1 pirate (who has a valid bounty on his/her head) engaged by, say, house police. Please ask if they need help. Most likely they say no. Then you can reply: "Understood. Standing by as back-up if needed. If you fail I'm stepping in."
7) Use your common sense.

In case 6) even if the pirate decides to shoot at you it does not mean you really should go after him now. Use your brain there. You can always answer like "Don't you have enough on your plate already?" It makes him doubly "angry" if you refuse to give him a fight.

I've refused to fight in situations like that for couple of times. I know it's not strictly in RP but it certainly is gentlemen's rules to not over-kill. This kind of thing, if you keep at it long enough, will achieve many things. The pirate knows your ship specifically is not too trigger happy, you play fair and if he scanned you he knows that you are more likely to RP if your loadout is bounty hunter weapons.

The next time you meet this pirate he's not in a hurry to start shooting because he knows you are not too trigger happy either. So suddenly you can RP with him. This of course applies to only those types of enemies that are interested in RP. But you can ignore those types. As people are checking you and your RP out over time you too are checking their RP out, so pretty soon you have a list which people are more inclined to give you RP and which are just looking for fight.

All you can do in your BH BC is to change the perception of you and your ship of choice one player at a time. So now you see why it takes very long to establish your character among the criminals and your own kind. If you want to fast track you progress in establishing your bounty hunter character you go and make a new same-name character and buy a BH bomber or Manta. It really does wonders how people act towards you when you fly a fighter or bomber.

And if you decide to get a fighter or bomber you could benefit from my personal list of open targets. The list might not be up-to-date so use it with your own responsibility.

Flying under radar.
