Quoting Server ruels

Okay, it's been pointed out to me i'm being harsh on some players, so lets make something really clear.

i got issues when people quote server rules and interpret them out of context. it generates confusion, and as a result, mass violations of the same rules in question.

So lets straighten that up shall we?

No one should be quoting server rules and interpreting them, other than Server Admins. If you need to quote rules or whatever.. please ask for Admin intervention on the forums or in-game. Otherwise you could end up in one of our respective dog houses.

It's well-known that Korrd and igiss are not fluent in English. Translating their native language to English can lose some of it's meaning, but they do a very good job of conveying what they mean. But on occassion, the meanings don't make any sense or are too broad, confusing for some. So if you have questions, or are completely unsure about it, Please contact an Admin and have them interpret it for you.

I don't want to slam people down over quoting rules, however there have been a few too many instances in the past few months where rules are quoted by members, and their interprentation is out of context. This needs to stop so we can keep the server as simple, clean and wonderful as it has been (minus the lag...)

No argument that this can be a great place to play and interact. I love gettin' into the minutiae.. (and the ensuing chaos...) I don't have an issue with how the whole thing is set up.

Wolf, you may say that you maintain complete impartiality regarding your admin role, and that you keep a healthy distance between admin decisions and your RP characters, history, and 'territory'. I would submit that i've seen instances where that fine line came very close to being crossed. This is of course a matter of relative perspective, or "Pair o' dimes' as i like to refer to them. And we all have "knee jerk" reactions at time.. and live to regret them eventually.

I've vented.. better than a good healthy dump. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to shine, and to change for the better. Me, you, Wolf, and every body who steps out of that Manhattan docking ring for the first time.

Make it fun; they will come. Make it nasty... and that's the "last-ie".

Aye, im sorry for that Wolf, just seems to me that the rules are there for a reason, but i'll let you and the other admins deal with anything and everything regarding the rules from now on. You have been known to be a little heavy handed though...

@wolf you need to lay off people and listen and try to reason more then you do. I hear you are a Tai-Kwon-Do teacher yet, I have to wonder. I have yet to see any of the respect that TKD enforces so much. I, myself was and still is, a TKD instructor since I was 12. Not trying to bash you, but this is what I see. If someone does something you don't like you get on them right away.*
