Man, you guys really aren't getting it are you?

I'm *TRYING* to be nice here, but it seems that no matter what I say or do, i'm slapped down or whatever.

What are you people trying to do? tell me that I shouldn't Role play? I do *NOT* mix Admin powers with Role play, except when the server lags to death.

Now as far as me being "heavy handed" you people have not seen anything. You're going by my forum posts. That's it. I enforce the rules, and yes i'm a hard-ass about it because we've been LENIENT for way to freaking long. Don't believe me? Ask Dab. Virus. Kane. Nightfall. Angel.

All of them have seen the rules tossed aside by n00bs so they can get the upper hand on everyone else, among other things. That was to stop a long time ago, and know how they were tossing the rules?

Two ways:

A) not reading the rules.

B) interpreting the rules *THEIR* Way.

An admin's powers on the server are ABSOLUTE. Meaning only another admin can challenge the rules. Igiss created these rules. It's our job as server admins to enforce it. We can be asses about it if we have to, but I'm tired of trying to be nice about the server rules and giving people a break cause all i get is more crap from the community over it.

Guess what? The same thing happens in real life. My students want to play around on me and not work? Fine. They either work or I make them work. My classes are *NOT* play time. And yes, I take my jobs very seriously.

Not lets get off the "bash wolf cause he's an admin" crap before you people really push me

I just said that in case you may or may not have realised you were looking thusly. I myself do not realise what I do until others point out. So I thought I would in the event you didn't know... Ahh, **** it! I was not trying to patronise you.*

If you consider the following as bashing, Wolf, I'm sorry:

It ain't the pitch. It's the delivery.

Of interest:

Quote:I'm speaking as Server ADMIN here.

Koolmo, last i checked, SCRA has *NO* rights in Tau-37. They never did. Neither does AW. Factions have only power in their home systems and that's it.

That being said I have to ask WHY SCRA is demanding miners move. you're way out of your zone of influence if you're using Omega-49 as your "base of operations" which, BTW, is not settling too well with my role play character Jonathan Pryde, as he owns the largest villa on the planet Gran Canaria with his sister, Kristina Pryde. Might i remind you, Koolmo, that your actions are pretty much hinting on that you have no real clue as to how Zoner of Influence really works out here?

Do you see the possible point of confusion and "crossover" here?
It's hard enough for "Joe Blow" to keep all the RP details straight.
It's probably a real nightmare for you and the other Admins at times, Wolf.
.... and the sarcastic "no real clue" comment.. We rely on you and the other Admin to guide, point out, and correct if needed. Don't see "demean" in the job description.

That said, let's play!!!

Mal, if you want to keep this up, be my guest, but you are not helping anything.

If i need someone to bitch-slap me for my own comments, let it be another admin or Igiss. I'm getting real sick of this.

Bye.

Nope.

Consider me "semi-retired", along with "Pops".

Just here for the great play 'n the free drinks.

Ladies, ladies, please, we dont need this arguement.

Please sort it out in a lady-like way and accept other peoples points, along with politely pointing out what you think is flawed in their arguements.

Play fair :P .

Hmm... I didn't see anything impolite here, just some guys helping other guy not looking so foolish...

There are 2 ways how to react on criticism. One starts with "How dare you..." and the other with "Well maybe you are right this time...".

But only one of them results in further personal growth...
