I'm afraid that there will be a noticeable quality loss if you want it animated as a gif file (which is the only type of file we can use on these forums for animation). And anything playing with transparency tends to mess up >.<

Resizing is even worse, to be honest. Might be worth trying an animation first to see if it's decent enough.

Yep, it does. You need to reload the page, it's not the same as an animation.
