I'm not intending to go nomad harvesting with a trader anyhow.

The TG are now the TDE, whether you want to carry the licence over or not it up to you.

ok what is this buisness about nomad licenses? im not sure i really under stand lol :wacko:

Unless someone does a linky your gonna have to go digging for it.

Basically it was done because all nomad brains are contrabrand to the NPCs.

So the nomad licence was is for players, once purchased your allowed to carry nomad brains (using special cages and stuff) to the cambridge research station.

Unlicenced ships don't use the special cages and that means nomads can take over the controls of the ship carrying them, which is dangerous (would you like to see a ship full of muntions crash-dive into manhattan?, thought not)

Also licenced ships can demand the nomads from ships who aren't licenced (doesn't mean you'll get more then a facefull of plasma, but you can hope).

PM would be better but this will do. And just to be clear for everyone, I DON'T have admin abilities or powers... so don't expect that $2 mil to suddenly disappear. It will still be in your hold until we meet each other sometime on the server.

Hi!

This may be a stupid question, but is this the place where you apply for a nomad transporting license? I used "search" and this was the closest thread that came up.

The thing is: I'd like to get a license for one of my chars, the explorer Leifur. He'll be around the Omicrons and I already RPed that he brought some nomad brains and nerve clusters to Ames, so I'd like to make it official.

Who approves the licenses? How much is it for a single character? Are there any restrictions?
Leifur is lawful neutral, by the way (though I gotta fix his tag once I'm active again...).
