i have the 9mm. i'm planing on getting a laser and a mini scope to put on it.

Save up for an AR-15. That is what I use nowadays. That 5.56 round is small but it will go through almost any armor. And you can get the picatinny rails on the foregrip of the weapon for all kinds of goodies to add on.
