IT'S BLOODY HUUUUGE! :crazy:Scale it down a bit, methinks. It's currently rather oversized (and that's an understatement).

' Wrote:Real Life that the largest cargo vessels can easily match if not outsize enormous warships, for example This comparison.
*Takes up role of Defender Of (the) Freedom (class transport)*

I think a tyrannical (does this word exist?) enormous transport that only the ridiculously rich can afford is the point, as well as to offer an alternative to the Adv. Train is one of the main purposes of this transport.

You'd buy it because you CBA to go to Rheinland to buy your Adv. Train, or because you want to cruise past Ouray base and shout into system chat 'Stupid poor Xenos! I have more money and a bigger ship than your faction and you will ever have! I have more hitpoints than Ouray! Get a job!'

But to be honest at that size you can just do it in front of Manhatten as well.

But really, it's not just the model that we need to consider here. To make it's enormous size more bearable for those complaining, I propose that-

ONE!
Being that it is the size of a battleship, it turns and moves like a battleship, if not even worse because of all that cargo. Lib dreads should out-manouver this thing.

TWO!
It has more armour than the Adv. Train for realism. I mean look at that thing!

THREE!
While the urge to do so may seem tempting, a transport is a transport. No BC, C, D, or GB turrets please.

FOUR!
With all that size, there has to be a pretty big powerhouse in there. Can we haz a big powerplant please.

FIVE!
It really, really, should turn reeeeeeeeaaaaally slowly. Even more than ONE! says. More like, it turns slower than Rheinland BCs.

SIX!
Even spreading of turrets for maximum effect, but maybe a large blindspot on the base or rear to counter TWO, FOUR, and the fact that with all that surface area it is bound to have more than a few turrets.

By the way, sorry Discovery community if I appear to be hijacking this thread and deciding what to do with this transport when A) I didn't think of it B) Didn't particpate in it's theory C) Didn't create the model D) Didn't texture it, and E) I am nothing to do with the development team. As I said before, these proposals are merely suggestions from an overenthusiastic Discoer who loves this new model and Idea, and doesn't want to see it too radically changed or axed before it is even in.

Much better Yue, but I still think wings are a bad idea. Size IMO should be a bit bigger than Lux Liner.

I was trying to find where can be cargo hold... didnt find logical spot. This ship just doesnt looks like transport.

Check adv. train.. there is cockpit and cargo hold, container transport - there is cockpit and cargo hold, random transport in FL - there is cockpit and cargo hold... this ship just doesnt looks like cargo ship - battleship - yes, cruiser - yes, cargo ship - no.

It may look good. No, it does look good. But if you are only able to use it inside the system you bought it, it's useless.
Perhaps you could go through a Jumpgate with that thing. But you shouldn't be rammed then. If you are, you have a problem, to say it with nice words.
Else then that, if it is finished, would it be possible to see a turret camera view of this ship (just to look if it could defend itself properly).

In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

Well as most say.

1 The model is absolutelly amazing.

2 It should be a bit smaller... The wings may still be a big pain in any kind of scrap and asteroids

Another update on size proportionality. Very approximative estimation by comparing windows.

edit: Kambei, you are wrong about details. Shrinking down a ship won't cause it to lose details.

Screw the naysayers, babe. This thing is bloody brilliant. And the wings? Beautiful. Looks matter.

Looks mighty purdy Yue, but man i have to point out that its got treads on it.

now sure its cool to land stuff on planets but the extreme size of the transport would make it unfeasible for getting out of a planets atmosphere and gravity.
