Konnichiwa, brothers. Today is filled with mixed news. I started my day with a trip to Gran Canaria. On the way I ran into three zoners bringing Kusarian Plutonium through the Taus escorted by a Bounty Hunter Cruiser. They ignored my hails about the legality of their actions and proceeded to deliver the war materials to Newcastle, where I'm fairly sure they sold them to the Mollys. The zoners in question are [Zoners]Dielcas, [Zoners].Routex., and [Zoners]Dielavaras. All three are considered enemies of the empire and I request you bring swift justice upon them when next they are seen. One of the, [Zoners]Dielcas, had the audacity to return to New Tokyo after. When I approached his vessel and informed him of his status as a criminal in Kusari he played the fool and ran and hid on Shinjuku station. I'm sure the state police were waiting for him.
It was about then that I ran into an AFA brother of ours, [AFA]Sousuke-Patro. Sousuke-San and myself enjoyed an afternoon of informing gaijin traders their place in Kusari. We then ran into a Blood Dragon flying a Kusari gunboat. As we engaged we were assisted by a gaijin trader in a Luxury Liner by the name of ForwardLineOfOwnTroops. The gunboat was quickly destroyed, the final blow being my own mine.
We then ran into a Golden Chrysanthemum. The pilot was quite skilled and the witch subdued both Sousuke-San's Bomber and my light fighter. The destruction on my ship will be avenged and I will have [GC]-Miharu.Takahashi's head mounted on my wall.

Konichiwa brothers.. It has been awhile since I've been able to fly my ship. Grounded for repairs I've been doing work within Kabukicho station. But it was a great relief when I heard that the Dragon's Scale had been fully repaired. Returning to space I immediately began working on some shipments for the Hogosha.
With a few shipments of synthetic Marijuana to Planet Gran Canaria in the Omega-49 System, I was able to make a good profit. I stopped there at the bar before the return to the New Tokyo system when I heard a prospective opportunity. Our drug has been wanted in the Omicron systems, a dangerous run for us through Nomad territory. But the reward was too much to pass up on. After a relatively quiet passage to Planet Toledo, I was able to acquire new weapons for my ship, while at the same time making more credits for our cause. However, little did I know I'd get to test the weapons that quickly. After heading back to the New London system, I was continually attacked by Nomad fighters. Luckily, these aliens were no match for my new weapon systems, and we were able to escape as a Nomad Gunboat came into sight. I did however, pick up a strange Nomad weapon.. I returned to Kabukicho undetected by the law enforcement, but I was unable to properly make use of the weapon gave it to the Black Dragon Society, hoping they'd have some use for it.
Leaving Kabukicho, I picked up some Comm traffic detailing a large shipment of Synth Food to the New Tokyo system. An Alliance Farmer by the name of Ryu was trying to protest their business in Kusari. It was a legitimate argument. Why should a foreign corporation be able to spread their filthy food into our space while they give no regard to the Kusari way of life? They care not for our honor, our lifestyle, all they care about is they're credits, and how much synthetic filth they can shovel into the mouths of our children. It was up to our citizens in the Farmers Alliance, and Hogosha alike to try and keep this influence out of our space. Synth Convey 313, as it was called knew about the threat, and issued a bounty for protection, but no one listened to their begging for help. Regrettably, two KNF officers offered they're protection.. Even though they did not fully agree with the values of the Synth corporation, they had a duty to fulfill. I tried to convince them of their foolishness, but the KNF hold honor and duty in high regard.. They could not "turn a blind eye" on what happened to the convoy. However, as this escalated a far greater threat came into view. A dragon Gunboat by the name of ay_paCman came into sensor range, and the KNS officer piloting the Shokaku, Ryu, and myself were able to rally together against this common enemy. Overwhelmed, he immediately decided to leave the system.. Escorting him out of New Tokyo, and into Kyushu, only more problems began to arise.
Bulldog, a known Outcast pirate was by the Akita Border station. Compromising, Shokaku and the other KNF officer followed ay_paCman out of the system. They clearly had him outgunned, and they would be safe. Ryu and I went to go quell the Outcast threat. We had just arrived right after the scum had sucked 2 million credits out of Kusari's economy. There was little to reason with him, and he opened fire upon my ship. Quick to react against the gunships rounds penetrating my shield, I immediately used my thruster to get out of the line of fire. Ryu was a great pilot, and with our combined effort, the outcast gunship was destroyed. However, both Ryu and myself sustained heavy damage to our ships. While I was able to use my contacts to get replacement parts on Akita, Ryu's nav system and comm system were destroyed. After such a display of courage, and honor for a Kusari citizen, I arranged for specialist on Kabukicho to make repairs to his system. Such an ally, who had proved himself towards the Kusari cause was deserving to have his ship repaired.
It was at this point that I had to part, for I was required to make one more shipment to Gran Canaria.. Again it was a relatively quiet route as we stayed off the main lane ways in Bretonian space. The only ship to become roused by Hogosha presence was a lowly Miner. On my return trip, I encountered a KNF officer. Making a donation to their work, I hoped that our next encounter would go smoothly.. Perhaps on my next trade run, it may prove useful if I'm stopped carrying contraband. However, it was upon my return that I encountered ay_paCman near New Tokyo.. The filth had return to spread his lies and influence to the people of Kusari. I was outgunned, a fighter against a gunship. I fought as valiantly as I could, but I soon found ship crumbling. I was able to eject into a pod spiraling into the confines of space. Luckily, we were close to New Tokyo and retrieval was easy.. However, as I plummeted out of range, I could hear the KNF officer that I encountered before, dealing with the Dragon scum that defeated me..
Another drink in the bar, and hopefully my ship will be up and running again. It's strange feeling, for a pilot to be grounded.

Father, elders and brothers, It is an honour to speak to you again.
I too have had dealings with this vulture ay_paCman. Only yesterday while I was in the process of refitting and performing flight tests on my new vessel, purchased from our valuable allies, I noticed on my comm system that he was hanging around the Honshu system looking for traders to prey upon.
I was in the Kyushu system and managed to convince some patrolling KNF officers in heavy fighters to join me however by the time we reached Honshu he had returned to whichever hole he came from.
The KNF told me that they had already ejected him from Kusari space once that day, be careful brothers he clearly shows no regard for his own life and has no honour making him a dangerous enemy to face.
On a more postive note, I wish to offer my new Civilian bomber to the Black Dragon Society and give it a name to be proud of, so I have chosen the following:
[|]Byakko.Tomodachi (//oorp Byakko [bak-o] means "White Tiger from the west" which seems to be an ideal choice for my character)
It will be available to provide escorts to any of our brothers and allies and help keep the empire free from the pirates and foreign corporations that are trying to corrupt our populace with their filthy products.

Much has happened in the past few days, too many events to go through in thorough detail, but I have been valiantly defending our homeland from these foreign invaders. I am pleased to announce I have acquired a Civilian Bomber that is available to drive all the filth out of Kusari.
However, more pressing issues are upon us. Through an associate of mine, a rumor has been uncovered. Although sketchy at best, a blow like this upon our business could be devastating. Our artifact trade at Hawaii is endangered from a growing Junker threat. Although numbers are not specific, we must rise up and defend the Luxury Liner. These Gaijin will not, and cannot interfere with our affairs freely!

So, it seems we are threatened on all fronts, Junkers to one side, Outcasts wandering through Kusari and now even in Edinbro' we are assaulted.... Yesterday I was visiting our Gaian cousins to negotiate improved relations with the Gaian Guards and guarantee safe passage through Lewis, when a bunch of BAF Gaijin turned up and tried to order me to leave! They claimed to have Authority in Edinbro'! Pah!
I can tell you, I laughed in their faces, but being completely outgunned, instead of engaging, I decided the more pragmatic option was to lay up on Islay and take a few beers in The Green Hell until the BAF were chased off by the locals.
Take no heed of these BAF fools, they are completely unaware of their surroundings and who really controls Kusari and neighbouring Systems....They will come to heel in good time...

I have grave news to report. The outcast presence in Kusari has become abominable. Gunships roam freely through New Tokyo, and I yet lack the experiance in my new craft to succesfully challenge them.
Just recently I spotted a raider at Shinagawa, destroying storage depots! These scum are stealing from our corporations, from our people! It took every nerve in my body to not immediatly open fire. Investigating further, I discovered that he was smuggling Cardimine into our system! Openly admiting to a crime, and already a danger to our allies, and attacking a house corporation, I was about to turn the outcast, Diego Alvares into flaming wreckage.
However.. He continued.. Hinting that it would be a waste.. For the important information was not what he was supplying.. But who he was supplying to. After talking for a short time, he told me it was a Kusari Officer! I couldn't believe these outragous claims. Alex.Sasaki, an honourable member of the Kusari Navy, one who I have personally been in contact with, and who proudly defends our homeland is in cohorts with the Outcasts!? If this officer who I've mistaken as one with honor, is allowing these scum to enter our space, and privately deals with our enemies, action must be taken.
However, I do not wish to quickly jump the gun.. The KNF are our people. They proudly protect us from the Bretonian forces, while we protect Kusari distablization from within. But what I speak of is an inner threat. Our police force may be acting against out best interests which cannot go.. unpunished. I will investigate into this matter further.
What happened next, made me laugh. Although I did not express it to him, Diego wanted to arrange a meeting, between the Outcasts, Hogosha, and AFA. He claimed their farming technology would aid them in production of their drug. We have honour, unlike these pirate scum. We do not turn on our allies so easily. Why would we aid the enemy of our Corsair allies, to create a drug, detrimental to the Kusari people. Already it is a problem with our youth, one that must be purged, not promoted. However, I am but a Kobun, and I have no great influence on our society. I simply get the job done.
Against all my urges to destroy the Outcast, I told him to leave the system, in return I am passing on his message.. Although I hope it falls upon Deaf ears.
If I see this filth in our system again, I will not hesitate to destroy him.

Ruuku, in your position as So-Honbucho, please would you gently probe these hints and allegations of corruption within the KNF as alluded to by Hakatoa? I suspect you will need to involve the the Security Bureau and I have no need to remind you of the sensitivity of such an investigation.
Beware of a trap, the filthy Outcasts might be trying to drive a wedge between the Hogosha and the KNF.
But if such allegations are proved we will need to move quickly to exorcize the problem by one means or another. Please report back with your findings and recommendations as soon as possible. We cannot allow the Outcasts to undermine our position within Kusari with their perfidious drug trade.
Oh! and by the way, I can still hear the rumbles of laughter from the AFA over Diego's suggestion of a meeting. Indeed, even I was induced to a fit of mirth...life is ever entertaining.

My friends I will keep this report brief as I must rest and return to duty as soon as possible.
It appears the KNF are beginning to respond to the increased presence of undesirables in Kusari space. This evening I, with Elder Ochi-san and Kobun Yamota-san worked with officers of the Naval Forces to pursue Outcast, GC, and Blood Dragons lurking in our home. The Outcast was destroyed over Honshu, and both the GC's and the Blood Dragon fled to farther reaches of the empire, away from the core worlds.
I see these developments as evidence that my policy of increased patrols is justified and successful. We must remains vigilant to protect our territory and our business. I might add that increasing our ranks would allow us to continue our core business while protecting our interests throughout the core worlds . . .
Finally I will turn my attention to the liner Hawaii. I need not say that Junkers cannot be allowed to compromise our interests aboard the ship. The artefacts are too vital to our survival. I will attempt to contact our Corsair allies regarding this business - and will visit Hawaii myself to survey the situation and gather intelligence.
Strong is our voice, and iron is our will. For the good of Kusari.
