When the Humans first arrived in the Sirius Sector the houses did not know if the other sleeper ships had actually arrived or not. They began to think that they might be alone in the Sector, with nobody to rely upon if another race attacks them. Each house began its own genetic research projects, hoping to develop another race that could defend the human race in an absolute emergency.
When the houses discovered each other the research was set aside for they now knew they had allies incase of an emergency situation. The research was buried under plans for Jump Gates and Trade Lanes, and it was all forgotten.
However, in light of recent events, one house decided to pick up again on the work and make a bigger, stronger soldier. The house that picked up on the work was Liberty, and they needed them because they knew that the impending war with Rheinland could leave them in defeat. They brought together there best scientists, gave them the previous notes and said “Get to work”. The work began in 810A.S, and by 815A.S. the scientists had barely accomplished anything. But then one of the scientists had a breakthrough. He remember reading a report from a small zoner exploration team in the sigma’s that whilst they had been exploring the planet in Sigma 17, they had found a type of bug never before seen by anyone. It seemed to actually feed on the life force of humans, slowly, but eventually taking the persons life completely. The scientist managed to acquire one of these bugs, and soon had a way of combining its DNA with humans. But there was a problem, nobody wanted to take it. He decided to give his body to the experiment, and soon he was strapped to the table and the others were injecting him with the bugs DNA. When he lied down on the table his name was Dr. Jackson Roberts. When he got up again, he wasn’t a human anymore. The scientists came up with a name, he was the first grown Wraith. The reason they used that name was because on Earth Wraith’s were creatures that were feared, they did not exist but people still associated the name Wraith with fear.
The scientists ran tests on him, and found that he was an advanced human. But there was a problem, he could not eat. At least that’s what they thought, because he knew what would happen when he used that bug’s DNA. He didn’t eat the food of humans, but he fed on the life force of humans. He had become an animal with instincts and abilities far beyond those of a human.
One day, he told the scientists that he wanted 100 of the best soldiers in Liberty to take the treatment. He knew that they would be turned against Liberty after the treatment, like he had been. He did not care about loyalty, all he cared about was feeding and installing fear into the population.
The scientists complied, and soon standing before Dr. Roberts was a small army of Wraiths, all ready to die for him and the cause of feeding.
He and the rest of the Wraiths knew they had to escape, to leave the control of the Libertarian Government and be able to feed on as many humans as possible. He accessed the database of the Liberty Central Core, and found something interesting. A ship was being built, that could actually regenerate its armour. It was just what he was looking for, it looked like fear, it showed that it should be feared, and most important of all, he knew it was the one.
They broke out of there cells and marched down the hall together, feeding on the guards as they walked past. Dr. Roberts watched as he fed on one of the guards and saw the life fade from his eyes and his skin. From then on Dr. Roberts was not a human, he had become something entirely different. They marched to the hanger, they launched the ship, and they flew it out of Manhattans atmosphere and towards the Badlands. There, they encountered the Outcasts, where they made an agreement that if the Outcasts and there allies were not harmed, there services were available to the Wraith.
Now, “The Hive” as they call it wanders Liberty and the other houses, destroying ships for the pilots, so that the Wraith can feed and be strong again.
The Hive staring at Rheinland from afar.
This character is for role-playing purposes only, it will not engage any players unless attacked first. It will go around, role-playing a Wraith and destroying NPC’s for the pilots to feed upon, and to gather information. Occasionally will go to a Planet and role-play an invasion.
Ship: Outcast Destroyer (looks like a Wraith Hive)
ID and Tag: Terrorist ID (with admin permission of course) and unknown tag (haven’t decided yet)
Relations:
The only NPC’s the Hive will not shoot on sight are well guarded ones or Outcast ones (and there allies).
The Wraith can make people see things that aren’t actually there (to a certain extent of course). It could make people see incoming Darts and they could role-play fighting when there’s actually nothing there.
So, what do you guys think?
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

EDIT: Ah it's ok now. *reads*
Umm, Stargate FL? Dunno really, I think this will be shot down by the rest.
I mean, I always appreciate a new idea and all, but I somehow think this is not gonna fly.
Although it would be good RP, perhaps it would greatly disrupt all the other RP.
I hate to sound like one of the "FL Purist Nazis" whom I somewhat detest, but this will be hard to work into the FL universe.
Saying you would not attack people unless in defense does go to your benefit though, because had you not said that this would just be regarded as an excuse to attack basically everything.

Well, I like Stargate, so my opinion's gunna be biased...but I like the RP of it. Sounds pretty good. However I doubt the Admins will allow you to have a Outcast Destroyer with a Terrorist ID. Good luck with it!;)
Nomads... Nomad planets... Nomads this... Nomads that... It's not a word to be used for anything or to cover up anything. Nomads theme is one to be approached with great care not to disturb the consistency and fragile structure, it's not a placeholder or filler to stories. You don't put them carelessly like that, as a mere placeholder word that can be replaced with any other. Replace it with any other name and nothing will change whatsoever. But you just picked on that and went on, plucked into your own story and expect us to go along with it just like that? Sorry, it doesn't work this way. Either remove any reference to them or work together with those working on their storyline(s). As for import from SG - no comment. Either way, "Nomads" is not a generic catapult-argument free to be used as glue to any ideas one might want to put into FL. I am strongly opposing this type of usage, an example of how not to conduct such themes. I worked together with various factions and individuals, helping them with their nomad-related stories, correcting the misconceptions, contributing ideas, so in the end everyone got happy - that's how it works. But this?!

This is not an attempt at some nomad character, just a small role-play idea i've thought up of. And nothing to do with the nomads, i just put that small war with them in to put abit more of a better story to it.

And did you ask the representative players if it's alright that the Nomads were at small war with someone else? No, you did not. You don't assume ahead, ask first if everyone you put into it agrees to or not. How it can not have to do anything with them if you put them right in there?

This is not directed at certain nomad players, it's directed at the nomad faction and happened like 100 years before this mod anyway. People can use NPC factions in there role-play stories without having to ask the NPC's.
I would also like to add that i am not trying to make a character like this because i like stargate, but because i think it would be a good role-playing experiance for me and anybody who happens to role-play with it.

This isn't true. Just as you don't put Phantoms into your story without their consent you don't put Nomads into your story without our consent. You work together or not at all. Simple as. It didn't fly for Harvesters trying as far as claiming the Nomads' purpose was to fight them, and it will not fly for you there either. If you want consistency with the Nomads' roleplay you contact the representative faction and settle a deal, discuss terms and work through it, you don't go around these procedures and expect it to be taken as granted. It's quite simple to do. Not only a necessity it's also a sign of good will and respected manners, so everything goes smooth and nice and if comes to solid conclusion for everyone involved it's done right and nobody involved will have a problem as everything has been talked, resolved and decided.

Ah, i mentioned in the story that the Hive was temporarily out of the nomads area as was going to return, but then found the humans in the galaxy instead and saw they were a much easier target.
The Hive will not enter Nomad space, the closest it will get will be Alpha and Gamma (Alpha for small diplomacy, Gamma for NPC hunting for food for the Hive).
