cant get on any server

I have posted in the 2 or 3 post which discuess this problem but the comunity can not really help.

My problem is that i cant connect to any server, if i cklick join, FL tells me imediatly that there is a problem with my internet connection or the server is down (standart message).

Maybe the discovery community will help me, cause i REALLY wanna play again FL discovery mod.

I use windows Vista.

Endless possibilitys...

1. Did you run as Admin?
2. Checked the blacklist of Antivirus-software?
3. Did you use the DSU-updater to start FL?

The best thing to do is get rid of all anti-virus programs, i tried AVG and even that blocked it.

But if there is one that works, please tell us!

Well, I use something that is called

G_Data


Works perfect, no problems at all. Ah, and i use wireless lan.

There is a thread on FL and vista somewhere around here, ill see if i can find it.
Points to look at are :
Make sure your using FLMM 1.3 as the rest are bugged
Make sure you run everything as admin
Fresh install of FL, FLMM
Antivirus allows it, i use Avira and it works fine, AVG, Norton(spits) and many others dont let you play

i have my anti virus ask me what to do when running a new program or changing a file. Every update it asks me, do you allow this program to connect to the internet. Perhaps you can go into your AVs allowed software section and add FL to it.

Just a side note, Nod32 also allows you to play fine as far as I could observe.

I have the resources to run Norton and it only blocks the FLSDCT.exe for me but I'm not mad enough to use vista. Just out of curiosity: doesn't vista allow to run freelancer with "-s82.113.48.5:2302" or why else would you get blocked?
