sounds like the right thing to do for a faction that can barely be qualified as squadron anyway. You are an entire fleet, certainly -not- a small squadron... much more fitting this way.

Ascendancy already left, and before wolfpack left he told swiss that he was in charge now and to take care of things =P
One of the biggest arguments people used against black squadron whenever it tried to do ANYTHING here was "you're just a squadron, you dont have that kind of power!"... and I dont know about the people in Bs|, but arguing semantics like that really pisses me off, I'm glad they chose a more generic name.

I didn't mean a hostile take over of the faction, i meant of the ORDER Npc faction, but im looking a t it from the perspective of an Indie
well we're not taking over the NPC faction entirely. Sorta like how the LN and the LSF represent the NPC faction, just we don't make all decisions for the faction. The Order High Command (Council) will be the in-rp ruling party of the Order, Order| is just the official faction and the "primary" fleet in rp.

this was somewhat explained in Swiss' post, and also explained in the high command introductory conference, and also explained in the order roster.
The official faction is now the 'primary fleet', while all independents fall into the 'reserve fleet', two seperate entities, both of which report to the high command. The primary fleet is intended to be, in-RP, the larger of the two, fulfilling most of the order's main tasks, while the reserve fleet is intended as a supplementary force to both 'hold the fort' when primary fleet ships are not around, as well as to assist the primary fleet in operations.
