Fredro walks in and up to the Chiefs desk.

"Sir, i must tell you something, Kira was right. i have connection with the Slave and Cardamine ship Dart_Malak. I am a co-owner of that slave ship and i have been abusing my powers as an officer to free California space to allow the smuggling ship to pass freely without fear of interruption from us or the navy. For this, i turn myself in and give you my badge. i have turned my liberator and Havoc Bomber in at one police plaza for distribution to another officer. Sorry, the liberator has Jelly stains from a donut."

Fredro takes his badge off and throws it on the chiefs desk as he awaits the chiefs goons to take him away.

[Zapp]

The Chief sputters, confused for a second, before his face turns red as a beet.

"YOU CANNAU QUIT! I FIAR YEW! HAND O'ER YER BADGE 'N' GUN!!!"

Goons descend upon Fredro and grab each of his limbs, and drag him off into the depths of LPI HR, where the screams slowly fade into the distance.

Meyer wakes up from the couch she had passed out on last night in the LPI lounge. She mutters to herself "Gotta stop doing this ...Not good being the only female in a male office".She then heads down towards the chiefs office, Marx slowly enters shutting the door after her. The only words heard are ......I .......Gonnna ......The ........wage ....my.......too. Marx then exits his office and says on the way out "Ohh and do that thing you were you tell everyone if they post they may get paid.

Meyer then heads down to the LPI hangar and takes off. Assignment Classified.


EDIT: Also I would like every LPI member to PM me there Time zone and hours they normally patrol in GMT

Captain Hull O'Brian Walks into the office and sits at his desk. He reads the news about Fredro Guajardo, and is very saddened by it.

He accesses the terminal in his office , reviews a few files, and gets up to leave, then remembers that he needs to update a special file. He opens a file on his computer, gives a retinal scan and a finger print. The last thing that he needed to do was give a voice recognition code and he did so.

"Identity confirmed Captain O'Brian" intoned the computer. He opened the file marked "Special". O'Brian reviews a few files, makes notes, and gets up to leave.

"Fred, tell the Chief that I will be in and out, that things are going well."

O'Brian turns to walk out of the office, and stops briefly to look at the empty desk where Fredro used to sit. He shakes his head and leaves.

Marx who is staring at her computer is typing away on a file call roster then she hears short squeak and turns her attention to the message marked Liberty Laws. Marx then gets up and yells in Fred direction realizing he isn't there turns towards the other Freds desk who is also not there. So she walks up towards the middle of the officer and grabs the microphone in which she yells " I AM SICK OF GETTING THIS SO HERE IT IS!"

1. Licenses Registration
   
   Vessels carrying less than 50 units of non-stackable equipment with the ambition of arms dealing or storage are to pay 3 millions of Sirius credits,
   
   Vessels carrying up to 50 units and higher of non-stackable equipment with the ambition of arms dealing or storage are to pay 5 millions of Sirius credits,
   
   Vessels carrying any kind of nomadic equipment are to pay 5 millions of Sirius credits, in order to obtain proper papers for dealing arms, storing equipment or possessing nomadic materials safely within Liberty.
   
   Unlicensed vessels will be escorted out of Liberty until they obtain a License.
   
   Nomadic materials those need a naval license in Liberty space are as follows,

2. Foreign Battleship class vessels ban
   
   All Battleship class ships from any foreign nations are permanently banned from Liberty for security reasons due to the rising tension between Liberty and Rheinland and political instabilities in Liberty. Liberty government will, from now, not tolerates any violator since they could be labeled as a ship trying to take power of Liberty space.
   
   However, permissions to fly in Liberty might be granted to some Battleship pilots for the following reasons:
   • Diplomatic purposes with the Liberty Government
     
   • Rendezvous with bankers that are in Liberty to do a transfer
     
   • Flying through Liberty to get to another system
     
   • For Emergency Repairs
     
   • Rendezvous with an Arms dealer
     
   The concerned pilot must make a request to an officer in charge of the Navy, Liberty security force or Liberty police inc. If a pilot dares to enter Liberty Illegally, (s)he will be nullified.
   
3. Ship series ban
   
   On the same note, The following ships series, regardless who is flying them, are banned from Liberty:
   • Rheinland Military Vessels
     
   • Outcast Vessels
     
   • Corsairs Vessels
     
   • Rogue Vessels
     
   • Lane Hacker Vessels
     
   • Order Vessels
     
   • Nomad Vessels
     
   • Huntress Cruiser
     
   • Talarca Cruiser
     
   Entering territory with those ships will be illegal and the offender will have to leave the governement space
   
4. Trade Embargo with Rheinland
   
   After the Rheinland Military has entered illegaly our territory, Liberty Government has instated an Embargo on all items heading to and from Rheinland. Only ships transporting humans will be allowed to circulate between both nations. Ships trying to pass will be asked to drop their cargo or to change route; if they don't comply they will be destroyed
   
5. Liberty Penal Code
   
   Violent Crimes
   • Kidnapping; Defined as the unlawful holding of an individual or individuals against their will by another individual or group of individuals, most commonly applied to the holding of lawful pilots in cargo holds. Penalty is 2,000,000 credits.
     
   • Slavery; Defined as the commercial enterprise of selling captive individuals, most commonly applied to holding slaves in ones cargo hold for the intent of commercial profit. Penalty for less then 2500 slaves is 2,000,000. Penalty for more than 2500 slaves is 4,000,000 credits.
     
   • Piracy; Defined as the unlawful coercion of the owner or owners of a vehicle or vehicles to render their resources towards the offender. Most commonly applied to vessels attempting to impose taxation upon traders. Penalty is death.
     
   • Assault, Attempted murder and/or Murder; Defined as the unlawful attacking of one individual or individuals by another individual or individuals with intent to Unsuccessfully/successfully damage or terminate said person or persons. Most commonly applied to one vessel attacking another with intend to cause harm. Penalty is death.
     
   Corporate Crimes
   • Violation of Trade Secrets; Defined as the violation of the implicit confidential and lawful trade practices of a commercial entity. Most commonly applied to non-Ageira or Ageira-authorised holders of Gate/Lane parts. Penalty is 500,000 credits.
     
   Contraband
   • Dealing of Arms to Pirates and terrorists; Defined as dealing of arms to piratical entities. Most commonly applied to those who deliver Light Arms or Military Vehicles to Liberty Rogue and Lane Hacker bases. Penalty for less than 2500 tons is 2,000,000. Penalty for more than 2500 tons is 4,000,000 credits.
     
   • Dealing of Arms to Class 0 Terrorist Groups; Defined as dealing of arms to groups classified as Class 0 Terrorist groups by the Liberty Security Force. Most commonly applied to those who deliver Light Arms or Military Vehicles to Order, Hellfire Legion or Phantom bases. Penalty is death.
     
   • Unlicensed Possession or Dealing of Alien Artifacts, Synthetic marijuana, Cardamine and/or Counterfeit software; Defined as the unlicensed possession or dealing of illegal goods. Most commonly applied to those who possess or trade Contraband without a special collectors or license. Penalty for dealing of less than 2500 tons is 2,000,000 credits, penalty for dealing of more than 2500 tons is 4,000,000 credits.
     
   • Unlicensed Possession of Nomadic Entities; Defined as the Theft of Nomadic entities. Most commonly applied to those who possess or trade Nomad equipment or Brains without a special Cambridge or Willard Research Institute license. Penalty for unlicensed possession or trading is death. Anything in a Nomad vessel will be shot.
     
   • Violation of the Rheinland-Liberty Embargo; Defined as the trade of prohibited goods produced by Rheinland to Liberty or vice-versa (Freight of humanoids is allowed).The violator has the following choices:
     -Drop the illegal goods to travel further
     -Turn back in order to keep the goods.
     Failure to comply will result in death.
     
   Governmental Crimes
   • Treachery; Defined as the betrayal of an ideal, group, ideology. Most commonly applied to those who betray their House, reveal or discuss entrusted state secrets, provide aid and comfort to the enemy or work as spies against Liberty. Penalty is death.
     
   • Impersonation of senior Navy or LSF staff; Defined as the impersonation of senior agents of a naval force or the Liberty Security Force. Most commonly applied to those attempting to impersonate Liberty Navy or LSF officers of Captain (Navy) or Deputy Departmental Supervisor (LSF) rank or above. (ex: Claiming to be Brian Copeland or Ft.Adm.Woolsey)Penalty is 4,000,000 credits.
     
   • Theft of a Navy or LSF snub vessel; Defined as theft of a naval or LSF fighter or bomber. Most commonly applied to those who fly Raven Claws, Avengers or Guardians (Defenders and Executioners are sold publicly as surplus) without special permission or membership (ID) of the LSF or Liberty Navy. Penalty is 2,000,000 credits.
     
   • Theft of a Navy capital vessel; Defined as theft of a naval or LSF capital vessel. Most commonly applied to those who fly Liberty Gunboats, Liberty Cruisers, Liberty Carriers or Liberty Dreadnoughts without permission or membership (ID) of the LSF or Liberty Navy. Penalty is 4,000,000 credits.
     
   Restricted Areas
   • Virginia
     The entirety of the Virginia system is a restricted area to all non-military traffic under Liberty law. Permission of senior staff of the Liberty Navy or Liberty Security Force is required to enter, and approval of the Fleet Admiral is required for a permanent right of passage. Liberty Navy and Security personnel are authorized to stop, search and eject pilots under threat of lethal force within this area.
     
   • Zone 21
     
     The entirety of Zone 21 and the surrounding minefield is a restricted area to all traffic except senior staff of the Liberty Navy and Liberty Security Force or entities directly authorized by them. Permanent passage may only be given by cosignature of the LSF Director and one of Libertys 2 Fleet Admirals. Lethal force is authorized towards any non-military vessels which attempt to trespass, and military trespass may be punishable by suspension or warning. Only ONE warning will be given towards any vessel attempting to breach Zone 21, which if not heeded will result in the destruction and kill on sight status of the offending ship. In the zone itself, all unauthorized ships, except those that are LSF/LN IDed/IFFed and flying proper Liberty military ships, will be destroyed without warning.

Patrol Report:

I was up and about for an early patrol this morning, when it was reported that there was a HF member in system. Turns out it was HF Jason Moore. Sergeant Myers and myself were patrolling trying to find him when I had an Idea. I Pointed My SWAT guardian straight up and flew about 10K above West Point. There he was, along with HF Andrew LeBlanc. We traded barbs for a moment and then the fight was on.

At This Point, Sergeant Marx arrived, making this a 2 on 2 fight. WE flew around and around, we were joined by a LN member Ryan McTavish(?). We fought some more, and a third HF member showed up, HF Joshua Mahnke, so it was now a 3 on 3 fight.

First one to leave the dance was Ryan McTavish. I think he got tagged by a mine. Unfortunately, I was the second to go.

I ejected, and saw that my Guardian was in a bad way. I set the autopilot for Fort Bush, and wished Marx luck. I didn't see how the fight ended.

Debriefing
January 24th
10:38 a.m. Eastern Manhattan time.
Docking station base one.
Greater Manhattan City.

This is officer Fredro Guajardo reporting in on patrol of liberty space on January 23rd. Started of the day by filling out much needed paper work of my recent happins between me and kira knight. after wards i finally got a chance to get back in my liberator. started her up, ran nice. Took a first flight to Fort Bush and then to Norfolk ship yard. Heard distress and then comms plastered over my view screen of a ship in system that had been blown apart from a BW marked outcast bomber. I quickly sped to where the last known sighting was when the outcast popped on my scanners. i cut the cruise engines and armed my missles as i unleashed volley after volley stripping the outcast vessel of all guns. but, alas i had ran out of ammo and could not take the ship down, so, we sat there, him with no guns, I with no ammo. We looked at each other through our cockpits and then we departed our own ways without a word. i returned to planet Manhattan and restocked on much needed ammo and nano bots. That ends my first day back on patrol duty.

Well, what was supposed to be a quiet extra shift has turned to sludge.

First off, the Independent officers of the LPI need some more training. I ran into a few making up laws as they went.

I got a report of pirates in California, two bg (?) and sl-m outcast were in there and robbing traders. t also upset the Local LR's who were rather upset that another faction was working their turf and keeping the credits for themselves.

Navy Zuetral and I confronted said Outcasts, and before I could respond to their communications, they shot me in the back and I was out of the fight. I didn't see how the rest of it ended.

Hours later, after I had got back to Fort Bush via life pod, I launched again and was confronted with about 7 xenos in Manhattan orbit. My first indication they wanted to fight was the words "A Cop, kill him". All 7 attacked at once. I fought them off as long as I could, but to no avail. My ship was destroyed again.

A mixture of laughter and cursing can be heard down the corridors of the station.
"Bastards! You stinky little conspiring bastards!"
A woman with blurred makeup and birds-nest hair who looks like she has been partying and drinking all night walks down the hall towards Marx's office, swaying and holding an empty champagne bottle in one hand.
"So those stooopid LSF bastards are in league with you too huh? You told them to refuse my application huh? Ah I shoulda known they bastards was no good!"
For no apparent reason, Kira starts laughing hysterically again.
Arriving at Myer's office, an officer who was just giving a report catches her before she falls on the floor drunk.
"You cant arrest me! Dont touch me! Bastard!" she screams at him. Then, her eyes suddenly start to widden and her cheeks baloon.
Orange-brown puke spurts from her mouth, onto the officers uniform, and flows onto Chief Myers's Persian carpet in front of his desk.
Kira looks at the stained shirt, the ruined carpet, and stammers "Sorry... I'll pay for that" before falling into the visitor's sofa and passsing out.
"Oh... Yew will" the chief mutters as 2 officers drag Kira behind them by her feet, towards a prison transport.
