I believe I already mentioned this in Central Comms, but I think that this namechange is a good idea. I was not very fond of the old, clannish, "Black Squadron" tag. The new tag gives a much better show of your intent and purpose in my opinion.

Just let the record show that I vehemently disagree with this decision.

Can't you just pick another name?
I agree with the two posts quoted above. It sounds like a way to muscle something more than a genuine we want to improve our RP thing. As such, I disagree.

Relative to an order player who is pretty much Bs|, wait, no, Order|.
Having said that, if disagreeing and actively/passively resisting the Order| authority, or the council in-game is tantamount to causing trouble, then you can make that two. (Frankly, I see little difference between the two anyway, but it is still advisable to list both.)

Having read that, you can basically skip my post.
I do not support this decision any more than I would support SOB changing to "The Outcasts". It doesn't bug me much with police or trader factions (because there's not much interest in police and easy excuses for traders), or with the Guilds since they're not quite so organized, but I hate this trend of naming a single small player faction for an entire NPC faction.
The last thing I can say is, good luck, Swiss, on leading our remnants.
As for me being on this server, well I've pretty much disappeared (I still have 2 accounts with chars for this server, nonetheless). However, it is my duty to lead Black Squadron's presence on the Discovery USA server, under the Bretonian Armed Forces.
Just, good luck, Oliver. If you need my presence back here, I'll be more than happy to fly under your authority now, as you did mine when you were my 2nd in command. Best of luck to all the other people flying under Swiss, as well. He'll serve you well.

The Outcasts are an entire people, though. The Order, on the other hand, is a military organization. Big difference there.

Who inhabit an entire planet. And who no doubt have 'civilians' among them to do the insignificant micromanaging work load to press on the military's goals.
Thousands of individuals cannot live in seclusion and still expect to be only viewed as a rogue group of military men. Especially when as much time passes as has indeed passed.
When the colonies declared independance and broke off from their European rulers, and as decades went by, I don't recollect people still being viewed as Dutch or British, but rather American.

Yes they inhabit a planet, but whos to say that they inhabit an ENTIRE planet? All we know from SP that they have a base there, and the base couldn't have been big because it only took a matter of minutes to evacuate the whole thing (the evac was preformed with rhinos on top of that.)
