Order ID

Im sorry if someone already post about it,but i cant find it.

Ok,so on the Order ID it says
"Order ID grants its owner right to participate in military operations on lawful side, hunt pirates and terrorists, scan traders for contraband, fulfil bounty contracts, and trade. Order ID owner cannot participate in any unlawful actions"

And yet,2 of the 3 Order allys ARE criminals.
Liberty lawful are ENEMY,and Kusari and Bretonian are neutral.

So,if i understand this right,order cant help its own allys,cause "Order ID owner cannot participate in any unlawful actions",BUT can hunt them cause "Order ID grants its owner right to participate in military operations on lawful side, hunt pirates.." :rtfm:

So,if i follow the description on the ID,the Order can work thogether with Rheinland/Kusari lawfuls(mil/police),witch are neutral to the Order,hunting Corsair/Hogosha,witch are allys to the Order.



So,im allowed to hunt my allys,but not allowed to help them,and im allowed to help their enemis.

Maybe by "lawful actions" it means Order law, not other house's laws, eg: Liberty, Rhienland, Kusari etc. The ID blurb does seem to be misleading though...maybe its getting fixed in 4.85?

Basically, just do as the Order would do: Hunt nomads...and...errr...sit in Omicron Minor and do...stuff

Some of the ID's are poorly written right now, luckily they're all being updated in 4.85.

Anyways, this is how I regulate what my order character does:

-The Order does not care about "petty" interfactional disputes. They do not care about the corsair-outcast war, they do not care about the kusari-bretonia war, they do not care about most pirates or traders or smugglers. The only thing that The Order is concerned with is protecting humanity from aliens.

-Generally the only time we help our Corsair allies against the outcasts/outcast alliance is when Gamma/Crete are directly under attack (cant let our allies be destroyed or we lose the resources we get from them). The rest of the time, we consider all factions within the outcast alliance (outcasts, dragons, GC, hackers, etc.) nuetral.

-We're only concerned with the following "contraband" being moved through our space:
--Artifacts (when moved by non-corsairs), the order confiscates artifacts transported by non-allies in order to study them for future technological developments.
--Cardamine, which was artificially created by the Daam K'vosh and is believed to have been made with the purpose of allowing a host body to be more easily manipulated by a nomad parasite (this isnt proven, just rumored).
--Slaves, The Order still considers itself a fairly 'lawful' organization, and doesnt like to see slaves being moved through their space. I generally ask any slave hauler to drop them off at the nearest freeport.
--Nomad Remains, which are capable of regenerating and reanimating themselves (especially the brains) and are a severe danger to any ship carrying them.

The Order wouldn't go around attacking Rheinland if the Corsairs were to invade Rheinland again. They are allies to the corsairs but don't fight their battles for them or with them. They merely help each other economically and with supplies etc. Since the Order would be crushed pretty quickly if they were to jepredise their Neutral status for most factions.

They are fighting to defend humanity, they tend not to take sides in human conflict.

If by 'allowed' you mean "He stole it too!", then meh <.<. But if you're referring to "I asked him and he said it'd be okay." then sure.
