Outcasts & Nomad canons

Greetings!

I searched the forums, but I couldn't find a final word on the issue, so here it goes: Is it allowed for Outcasts to mount Nomad weapons on their ships? If not, why?

I believe it is within the rules for anyone to mount Nomad weapons.
Don't let the other Outcasts catch you carrying Spirit weapons though.

rulewise - you can mount nomad guns as a member of any faction imaginable

RP wise - it can get you into trouble - but if your RP is to get into trouble and deal with it ... its all fine.

Nomad weapons are dodgy territory.

I recall a familiar quote by more than one person ingame.

"_____ with nomad weps!? Wtf!?"

"_____" being the affiliate.

You're sticking a Nomad onto the side of your ship...and you expect people to be OK with that? o.O

I hold the belief that the only people who should really mount Nomad guns (the lootable ones, that is), are LSF, Bounty Hunters, people RPing as infected (but not members of the Wilde faction), and people that just don't care what the rest of the universe thinks about them.

It's not against the rules...
BUT, Outcast in role play have a certain 'Respect' for the Nomads. There fore, their technology & any attempts to harm them in Outcast space (Alpha) is considered a bad bad thing.

The Outcast Council of the Dons put out a handbook for all Outcasts. It's basically general role play info for Outcasts, diplomacy & etiquette, plus some valuable info.
