Ok first off i'd just like to say how much i love this mod and appreciate all the effort you guys put in to help keep this wonderful game alive! I wish microsoft would pay you for this stuff cos it truly is gold.

Now, to the point, I love this mod so much but there is one thing i really cant stand and that is the NPC enemies using shield bots and nanobots. During the slow grinding missions at the start of the game this is just so annoying and takes soo much time to kill the enemies. You think you killed one then it comes back with close to full health and shields.

Now I know many of you would like this but for those that don't want this (like me) is there any way i can disable it? any line of code to edit or something??

Thanks a lot for the mod again guys

Ben.

I couldn't care if it takes long, I'm going to blow them up anyway.

But it would be better if the NPC's were harder to kill :D

Best thing you can do is to find one of the civilian pulse weapons. Byond that... Not much, I'm afraid.

yea but im not talking endgame im talking about doing the game from the beginning and some of the missions are real difficult especially ones with time limits because it takes twice as long to kill things

Even in the beginning, there should be a pulse cannon you can pick up from Pittsburg.

I would have thought there was one at the equipment dealer.

Here is what you do. You finish the first, then second mission. After that, get enough money to purchase the Defender from Battleship Missouri. Go to Pittsburgh and buy the stunpulse turret. The farther on you get in the game, the higher level pulse guns come available. You might not be able to get turrets only, as some ships don't have them. You'll have to sacrifice a gun slot for one, but its worth it.

I know it sucks that NPCs are hard to kill in the beginning, but they get really easy once you get established in the game. If you see an HF character in-game, we might be able to give you a start-up gift. (i.e. 2 mil or more) Then get a trader, which is really the fastest way to make money. HF could always use some good fighters. HF chars look like [HF]-Whatever Your Name Is. It will be a lot easier to kill NPCs, and other players, once you get a good fighter and start making money. Cheers

I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.

RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
