La belle bete?

*facepalm* meh I know its like over a week late... but
what a boring book...
yet it was short... you could have read it in a single night easily >>

'nyway. Anyone know how to use Maple 12 around? Classic worksheet version. I don't know how to plot a graph in the classic version, and it's pissing me off right now...

Never heard of that program. Why not just use Excel? Or, if you're like me and Excel confuses the hell out of you, try the Graph feature of Powerpoint.

meh I don't quite know. I think it's because Maple is much more specialised, and can do very complexe function solving more easily than Excel.

Excel cetainly can't substitute Maple. I'm personally more into Mathematica (especially when I have it for free from my Faculty).

Anyway, I'll look into Maple 12 User Manual and see what I get from it.

Edit: Another thing that looks useful is this: Maple 12 Quick Reference Card

Maple 12 Quick Reference Card Wrote:Plot an existing expression: [Control]-click expression → Plots → Plot Builder
Plot new expression: Tools → Assistants → Plot Builder
Add new expression to existing plot: Highlight and drag expression into plot

Yo! Alright, so I kinda need this answered soonish if at all possible. I'm not exactly mathematically talented, so I'm asking you guys. This is hypothetical,

-Edit- # is Pound, as in Great Britain, the forum didn't like it, so it used ?'s. Pound... #... Get it? Like... Money and phone button?

If #1 = $.60 (sixty cents) and we have $23, that will be #38, yes?

Furthermore, #8 = $4.80?

#92 = $55.00 ?

I'm writing a small article and I wanna make sure my conversions are correct, so its not haxxing my homework or anything.

Thanks, Magoo!

I got slightly different results.

$23 = #36.8 if #1 = $.60

#92 = $55.2

#8 does = $4.80

Ah, thank you, sir! I'll trust somebody else because its hard to suck as badly as I do analytically math-wise. I have trouble with this sorta stuff.

... Geometry I'm okay at. *cough*

Anywho, still up in the air if anybody wants to test his/my results. In any case, thanks again! If this is the only answer I'll publish his results.:PThanks... A third time!
