I've taken one of the twin canon artillery gun from the Beowulf, Mqo says theres 342 poly.
the real problem is the tube of the canons. I've added a bit too much poly to give an impression of roundness, because originally they were intended for a wallpaper shot only, but I can easily reduce those tubes to mere hexagonal base; they will look quite roundish in game from respectable distance anyway. And reduce poly size immensely.

the base of those turrets are relatively simple.

thing with those large turrets I made is, they are completely static object. Someone will be needed to animate them - but I think Doom, and maybe even Seth, has those competences.

Xing I dont think your guns are oversized and disproportional to ship, in present days have warships even bigger guns:)I think they are pretty realistic... huge blast neeed huge tube (not like now, toothipic launch giant white balls which are called gunboat razor:D)

no I meant disproportional as in, a main gun made for Rheinland battleship (heavy bs if you prefer), could hardly fit on an Osiris (light bs), because it would just be too huge.

Thats exacly what i mean, it does look stupid with small guns big blast, big blast = Big guns.
and how it looks now is just not good.

well right now we hardly have any weapons with the effects of rl huge blast battleships, except mortar and inferno. Which indeed, looks very sad because I think they used fighter turrets models...

you cant mount Rheinland BS guns on Osiris.... allright you can but it will cause loosing guns, credits, cargo and sanction notification in your cargo hold:D
